Highly recommend this amazing and so delicious place. The food come for beautifully served , the portions are European style which allow you to try more dishes and not being extremely full in stomach. Great service team. Great presentation of the meals describing all the ingredients. Love it ! And will mark as my favorite.

A true gem on 30th just outside of the busier North Park area. Wormwood delivers a wide variety of cocktails, wine and absinthe but you’re really going to notice the food!

New Absinthe bar in San Diego ! Absolutely enjoyed our time at @wormwoodsd ! Their drinks and shareable plates were so fantastic and loaded with unique flavors. Definitely will return for that Esquite! Le Frappe (Absinthe, Anisette, Elderflower, Creme de Menthe, Lime, Soda) champignons wild mushroom tartlets (pommes, pea puree, caramelized onion, lime, mint) Esquite (New menu item! Esquites also known as elote en vaso is a Mexican snack or antojito. You can find them at local markets, and street vendors selling corn. The word esquites comes from the Nahuatl word izquitl, which means "toasted corn")

We had an amazing dinner at wormwood. From their polite phone call the day of to let us know they were moving us to covered patio, in case of inclement weather to polite asking if we’ve been there before, celebrating anything at hostess stand. It sounds cheesy but it was all of these details that made the difference. Great attentive service, with complete descriptions of the dishes, beautiful tiny, delicate, thoughtful gold utensils for the apps. We celebrated my husbands bday and from the moment they sat down, bringing us Prosecco and a non alcoholic drink for one of the guests to dessert with a candle plus the dessert we ordered. Every detail was thought out and different from other restaurants. Where they could have skimped, they did not. And of course the food was fabulous. You know it’s a good meal when everyone ranks their favorite dishes. The salmon tart/tostada, cavier cigar, perfect oyster and entrees on salmon and mushroom pasta were the faves. Oh and the leek soup, complex and simple all at the same time. We will be back soon!

Everything was amazing. Just a little loud. But it was a fun night with my friends. Parking: Need to circle around a bit and walk in this neighborhood, but that's expected in the area.
