The sandwich was good but I don't get the hype. It was just a sandwich, nothing special. Maybe I need to try other sandwiches on the menu. I heard the potato salad was good so I ordered some even though I thought it was overpriced. It was NOT good. Very vinegary and some undercooked potatoes. I've had better at grocery stores. I may be back to try some other selections but I really thought the sandwiches were expensive for what you get and they weren't anything special. Cute place though, and the staff was great.
The sandwich was great. Service was meh. It was our first time visiting this place. Thought we would try it. We decided to eat outside even though it was a little chilly. Grabbed a fork, honey just had dental work. I did not see napkins, so hubby went inside to ask. The person behind the counter acted like he was asking for money and handed him one napkin. I went back inside to get at least one more napkin. She said, " You have napkins in the bag." I said we dont have a bag. We had a basket. She said, "i handed your husband the bag." I told her, i wouldn't lie to you! She then said the napkins were on the tables (inside the building). Good lord! I had no idea napkins were gold! I am going to have to start collecting them!
Small family owned/ operated business. All made to order and very little wait time. Food is fresh and excellent!
I was looking to grad an Italian sub but didn't want to go to the cookie cutter sub spots and I stumbled across Woods Family Sandwiches. The sandwiches are good. Potato salad is good. Definitely recommend this spot if you're looking for a sub or to grab lunch
The Italian was delicious!
