Just a cheap (quality-wise, not price-wise), shoddy business serving out mediocre food in a bad atmosphere. We ordered a Mysore Masala Dosa, and the potato filling was spoilt. A few other things we ordered came out at random order - entrée before appetizer, drinks after entrée - something that seems rather common among many Indian eateries in Orlando area. Falooda was too watery and bland. The owner or the manager person stood around disinterestingly watching over what seemed like utter chaos. IMO, fish markets have better atmosphere. Avoid if you can! Don't believe the 5 star reviews you see here.
Food is not what it used to be. The dosas are still fresh but lack a little of the depth of taste and crispiness I've enjoyed before. The appetizers feel oily and reheated. The environment is unwelcoming and it feels more commercial that wants you to be in and out quickly. Hygiene has deteriorated - cleaning the table means sweeping everything off the table to the floor including the used napkins. Not a place I'm looking forward to revisit.
Very poor quality south Indian food. The Vadas were too bulky and not crispy. Did not taste authentic. The Sambar was very watery and did not taste like the proper south Indian Sambar. The Mysore Masala Dosa I ordered came with potato stuffing that were almost spoilt. On the whole, this restaurant did not hold up to the standards of Woodlands . Very disappointing.
It is a south Indian restaurant and they have authentic idli sambhar and dosa.
An Orlando MUST. Best all-vegetarian place in Orlando
Best South Indian thali. Enjoyed both South Indian and Mysore Thali from here. Also had falooda and sweet Lassi. All were nice. Really felt like having food from Karnataka.
One of the best dosa I ate in United States. Very nice place for authentic Indian food.
