The food is good but the staff will be very rude and ignore you just for being white. It’s crazy. Seen it here many many times. I tried to order today and they were standing at the counter and no customers there. They just talked rude until I walked away.

I travel frequently through Chicago-Midway and thought I'd try Woodgrain on my recent layover. I understand that my flight was the last departing flight of the evening, but I felt the service was sub-par: the male behind the cash register bemoaned to his coworker that they'd surely not be able to go home before 10:30pm (as I stood there awkwardly, feeling like I was inconveniencing them). This would not have been a big deal, as I work in the hospitality industry and we all have our days. However, I asked if the margherita pizza came with tomatoes and basil, and if I could please order extra--but was told that it just came with marinara sauce and cheese (never mind that the menu stated the ingredients displayed on the wall). When my plain cheese pizza was ready, I requested a side of ranch and was told "sorry, we're out." My pizza came out to $22.34 including tax. I then walked over to Harey Carey's for my side of ranch, and tipped the gentleman who went out of his way for the kind gesture. A little service goes a long way for a weary traveler! Three stars for the pizza because it was delicious and served piping hot--but if you're looking for fresh basil and tomatoes on your margherita this is NOT the place.

Not bad for Midway. $22 for a personal pizza, but it was tasty and came out in under 5 minutes. Good crust. I would return on a future trip.

I liked the pizza. Good dough and cheese. Prepared in about 15 minutes. Vegetarian options: They have garden vegetable, cheese and margarita pizza and a few kinds of salads.

My pizza was decent enough and had standard charring for a pizza oven. I'd eat here again. I think they put cheddar on my five cheese pizza, which is weird, and the amount of sauce meant the cheese kept sliding off. Only two stars for atmosphere because it's an airport.

Pizza was very good. Big enough for 2 people to share. Gluten free crust was delicious. Also had a breakfast burrito that was delicious as well. Very good, especially for an airport with such limited options.

Overpriced airport food & terrible service I was stuck at Chicago Midway for a six-hour layover and went to grab dinner here around 6pm. It wasn't busy at all and there was no one in line but me, but the staff ignored me for several minutes because chatting about their personal lives was taking preference. When one of them finally came to take my order, they continued talking to the other staff member and didn't say anything but the bare minimum to me. It was a very terse & rude interaction.
