It’s a cute little shop. It is pretty small. So I would say it’s very nice to get something and enjoy at home. Great atmosphere for sitting outside when warm though. I got the lemon poppyseed which is gluten-free. It was very refreshing and moist. I also got their blackberry lemon scone. It was a pretty tasty scone. It’s texture had for a cookie crust and I didn’t really taste any lemon. I think the blackberry just overpowered it. It was still very good. I also got a cappuccino. Pretty strong and great flavor. I don’t think they have any alternative milks though. I was just offer whole milk. Staff is very sweet. They’re a small staff and work their butts off. Great hard working crew. They do have a few more gluten-free options as well. Dietary restrictions: They have a couple of gluten-free options for the baked goods.
My favorite morning treats and iced coffee. Terribly easy to miss hours, but when you can catch it and it’s open - they’ve got the best baked goods, pastries, croissants, of any other place I’ve been in Denver area. Their iced coffee is also one of the best, along with the Turkish coffee place down the street if you’re in the mood for baklava or Turkish breakfast items. Both spots seem to have a really smooth and not bitter iced coffee that I love. This is a big deal for me, as I only drink black iced coffee with nothing in it, the coffee has to be good. I can’t cover it up. So Wooden Spoon, way to nail it on every count. Definitely recommend.
Hipster dive joint where if you do not wear the newest alpaca sweater or northface shoes then you will receive bad looks from the other customers.
We try to get out outside of our neighborhood and try new bakeries, sometimes the pictures are better than what we actually get. But NOT here! The pastries were fresh and delicious, the sandwich was warm and filling, the bacon was fresh and crisp. The coffee was spot on and the customer service was amazing, even at 8am on a Saturday everyone seemed happy to be there and to take my order. Highly recommend, even if you have to take a drive to get there. I will be going back to try their lunch.
Popped in here today and had an excellent experience! James was so kind and the food is delicious. We ordered the blueberry cream cheese croissant and a morning bun! Thank you!!
The best place for baked everything in Denver. And the sandwiches are to die for. Staff/owner are fantastic. Please visit/support. It’s worth your time. Every time!!!
Very good breakfast sandwich and pastries. Not much seating.
My husband just surprised me with a butter croissant from here and I am speechless.
Special place with excellent food & service. Come early as they often sell out. #denver #best_bakery
