Wolf Creek Tavern

We stopped in on a busy Saturday evening & grabbed a seat at the bar in lieu of the hour wait. We didn't make reservations but they are highly recommended! The bartenders were very busy so service was not the greatest, but not their fault. We got the margherita flatbread & the loaded potato flatbread. The latter was pretty bland & not at all "loaded". But, alas, the margherita one was delish! I also had Downeast blackberry cider for the first time and it was soooo good! Afterward, we slipped through an inconspicuous door and down the rickety stairs and there we were, transported back in time to another era, when alcohol was prohibited. This place was a real functioning speakeasy during prohibition, as well, it is said, as a stop on the underground railroad. The bartender was charming & shared some cool insights with us. The drinks served are authentic prohibition era recipes. We got the Mary Pickford, it was wonderful, garnished with delicious Luxardo cherries from Italy. Will definitely go back!

6 of us went to celebrate valentine's day! The food was beyond amazing! We ordered chicken marsala, 1 fried 1 grilled. Both amazing! The pork cop was large and tender and my fiance and I ordered the valentine's special steak and lobster for 2. His steak was tender a very big portion. And the lobster tail I ate was big and very tender. We had appetizers and drinks and not one of us had any complaints! Highly recommend !! We even went down to the speakeasy after dinner. All round fabulous experience! Thank you!

Food is top notch!! Owners and staff are so friendly!! Atmosphere is cozy and friendly!

Food was good. Had the honey salmon. Server attentive and atmosphere is great. The inside is covered with wood, makes you feel you walked into another century to dine. Nice selection of beer and cocktails.

The mold and mildew odor treated me at the door. Remove the old carpet and tile the floor. The food was way too salty. Prices are too high. We won’t be back.

Date night! Love the atmosphere, food was good and service was good. We want to come back and try the burgers!
