As a regular customer of Wisla, I've long appreciated their selection of butcher meat and products from Poland. However, after my recent experiences, I've made the difficult decision to no longer patronize this establishment. Despite my loyalty, I couldn't ignore the concerning observations I made during my visits. Notably, the exclusive use of Polish language by the staff, even when interacting with non-Polish-speaking customers, creates a barrier to effective communication and leaves many feeling excluded. Furthermore, it's disheartening to witness a disparity in the level of care and attention given to customers based on their nationality or ethnicity. Such biased treatment goes against the values of inclusivity and equality that I hold dear. In addition to these issues, the quality of the prosciutto leaves much to be desired. The slices are consistently uneven and resemble more of a crumbled mess than the desired thin, uniform slices expected from such a delicacy. Overall, while Wisla offers a range of authentic Polish products, the lack of inclusivity, biased treatment, and subpar product quality have led me to seek alternatives for my shopping needs. I hope they take these concerns seriously and strive to improve their practices in the future.
