Ah, the tale of the phantom Door Dasher: A modern-day urban legend that unfolded in real-time. Picture this: I waltz in, expecting to swoop up my pre-ordered feast with the grace of a ballet dancer. Lo and behold, the technology gods weren't on my side—or the restaurant's, for that matter. Their tablet had gone AWOL, taking my order to digital purgatory. As I took a seat, contemplating the cosmic injustice of it all, I was approached. "Are you Seth M?" The question felt like a game show query, but alas, no prizes awaited me. Just confusion. In a twist worthy of M. Night Shyamalan, the manager emerged to reveal the shocking plot twist: My meal had been heisted! Kidnapped by a rogue Door Dasher who, upon hearing my name, said, "Yep, that’s me!" and rode into the sunset with my dinner. Perhaps he's out there somewhere, feasting like a king and telling tales of his culinary conquests. Now, the restaurant offered a 'do-over,' the gastronomic equivalent of a mulligan, but let's get real. There's a lesson here: It's 2023, people, let's add a little James Bond-level security to the handoff process. Maybe even throw in some app-verifying action—just a thought. The food? It was mostly satisfactory, but the sizzle was gone. It turned into more of a lukewarm affair by the time I actually got to consume it. And with San Diego being the culinary playground that it is, I'll likely be exploring other culinary adventures in the future. So, to the restaurant owner, I leave you with this: Train your squadron, perfect the handoff, and maybe, just maybe, you'll avoid creating another Door Dasher legend.
Im a regular now, I love their buffaloe salads They are all on point! The lettuce is crispy and fresh the chicken bits are breast covered in their sauces! Chef kiss—the only downside the Mac and cheese is not that great but everything else —amazing so far!
Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Got my usual wing flavor of garlic Parmesan. It’s not too heavy on the garlic which I appreciate. Also tried their best sellers which are the Buffalo wings and fries. Definitely has a kick to it that you’d expect and the fries are a good serving size between 2-3 people. I can see why the fries are a best seller.
