Winfield Street Coffee- 86th Street

This little coffee and baked goods shop inside the Q subway station on 86th Street is a cheerful morning pick-me-up. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The coffee and muffins are delicious. It totally elevate the idea of subway shops. 5 stars all around.

They are fast. I ordered a small hot coffee with almond milk and then paid for it... all while the downtown train was pulling into the station. And the coffee is STRONG.

Please note, if you are not taking the subway, they are located underground next to subway tracks but they have amazing customer service and high quality caffeinating! The subway gate people at the subway are very nice, just let them know you need access to the Winfield Coffee below. Hidden gem inside the subway.
