Windmill Food Hall

LOVE this place and the variety of restaurants. Great quality! It is open seating which is sometimes a challenge during busy times, but there is also outdoor seating. Depending on where you sit, it can be a little loud, which is why I gave atmosphere a 4 vs 5. This place is a favorite that I come back to again and again, with friends and family. I've tried about 3/4 and have go tos, like quesobirria quesadillas, chilli fries tofu (Vietnamese), summer rolls (Vietnamese), chicken pesto pizza, garlic knots, burrata appetizer, cheese rolls (Mediterranean place), and of course the cafe has plenty of fun options on small ramekins you can keep (I like the lemon mascarpone, raspberry pistachio, and wild strawberry desserts).

We stopped at Windmill Food Hall for a quick bite before getting back on the road. We were pleasantly surprised by the diversity of culinary options available. Everything was clean and well-maintained. A live band provided the perfect touch of casual ambiance, and quite a few people were dancing. Overall, Windmill Food Hall is a great spot with a very positive vibe.

Fun and lively, some great food choices. Highly recommend the pizza, it's one of the best you'll find anywhere in San Diego. Pho is also excellent.

They removed the very nice restaurant that was there and replaced it with a bunch of trashy looking food stalls that wind around awkwardly. It's odd to navigate and feels a bit like being at a fair or circus.

Some good vegan options. For breakfast and lunch. At the entrance there's a breakfast coffee place that shares a kitchen to the El Puerto street Tacos restaurant where they serve a delicious vegan bowl with soy chorizo, beans, avacado, etc.. They can also use the soy chorizo to make other dishes such as a tacos, etc. For lunch there's a Mediterranean House with many options, such as my favourite, Flaffel. There's also Vegan Pizza at craft pizza, and another place with chinese dishes with soy orange chicken as an option.
