I absolutely love this spot. Between the history and the level of detail this place goes to in an effort to create an amazing experience, you won't be disappointed. They go the extra mile to create a unique cocktail and experience while here. You are taken care of from the time you walk in, until the time you leave. They will keep your coat for you and while I didn't try any food while here, it looked delicious. Hats off to this spot! The level of detail and care that goes into this place really shows. I'll absolutely return!

This is possibly the best bar I’ve ever been to. The food is always amazing as are the drinks. If you sit at the bar, you can watch the drinks being made and they are very well crafted. I’ve been when it’s completely full and when it’s a little more regular. Both times, the noise level was great and I could easily hear everyone around me. The atmosphere is awesome and you kind of have to see it yourself. The entrance looks like a very small bookshop. Once the host confirms your information, they lead you through a hidden door to a cozy, upscale bar with very limited tables and barstools. Make sure to make a reservation well in advance, especially if it’s for a weekend or holiday. They can book up months ahead of time so it’s always better to book as soon as you can. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. It’s an experience that’s well worth the price and wait. Parking: This is in the middle of the highlands so you’ll likely end up parking on the street several blocks away. Kid-friendliness: This is not the place for kids. It’s a quiet speakeasy environment that places atmosphere way above kid-friendliness. Wheelchair accessibility: I’m unsure of how accessible it is given that you must go down stairs to go through the hidden door. The other way down from the front also has stairs. So i think you may have to come through the back if you require an accessible entrance, which is- at the very least- less than ideal.

Great service, great atmosphere, tons of fun! Oh yeah, and the food was excellent!

50th birthday dinner was above expectations. Ricky was the best, all points of service timed well and on point as always. Spectacular, balanced drinks with tasty bites as we needed. Wonderful atmosphere and I couldn’t have asked for more.

Really unique cocktails, with efficient and friendly service. Alexander was our bartender, very helpful and happy to answer questions and make recommendations. We also got some food - the fried artichokes are a standout! The bone marrow is great as well.

Tucked away behind a bookstore, the ambiance here is charming and inviting, with dim lighting and cozy seating. The cocktails are the real stars of the show, expertly crafted by skilled bartenders using high-quality ingredients. Ask your waiter/bartender for recommendations or even a custom creation tailored to your taste and you will not be disappointed. We did not try the food but it looked and smelled great. Our waiter was attentive and knowledgeable. Overall it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Make sure to make reservations becuase they get busy. Highly recommended!

You’d be hard pressed to find better bartenders anywhere.
