Love it. Food was great. It’s not fast food but is delicious. Beautiful view and great place to spend a rare rainy day with friends. Highly recommend.

Excellent food and drinks!

Maybe the staff was EXTREMELY short the night we went, but there could not have been more than one waitress and one cook. Listen, I understand "Island Time". We have been sailing around the Bahamas for well over a year at this point. It was about 90 minutes between drink orders. Yes, we could have gotten up and chased one of the two people working down, but we didn't. We arrived at 5:30 pm and were the ONLY ones there. By 6pm we finally had our first drinks and we placed our food order. Slowly, over the next 2 hours, the food was brought out in 25 minute increments. No two people were eating at the same time. By about 8:30 pm, one couple had to leave because their daughter was getting tired and I told them I'd grab their check. THAT'S how slow it was. Top this all off with an 18% To Insure Promptness TIP that was mandatory. Holy Cow, I would hate to see how long things would have taken without that mandatory Promptness fee..!! The only explanation is that the waitress was also the cook. That's the only thing that makes sense. I am not a demanding customer. All I ask is to stop by and check on us at least once or twice an hour. I would only recommend this place to see if my experience was just freak occurrence.

The drinksss!! The view!!! Fabulous! The chef has the touch because everything out of the kitchen was delicious. So nice i went back twice in one week

Vegetarian options: We had the veggie roll without cheese (to make it vegan) and it was excellent. Great service and atmosphere too. They are VERY cruiser-friendly and invited us to use their dock, trash dumpster and outdoor water spigot even when we aren’t eating there. We ate out on the deck overlooking the beach, dinghy dock and Rock Sound beyond. Waitress really went out of her way to be helpful and also offered local info.

I can’t say enough about how much of a gem Wild Orchid is! We’ve been there twice for dinner and three or four times for afternoon drinks in the past 10 days. The staff are professional and kind; the owner Larry is friendly, helpful, and is an interesting conversationalist; and the food is the best we’ve had since crossing in early December! Whether you sit at the bar, dine in or out on the patio, or even on the lawn, everything is well maintained, clean, and designed for your pleasure. The dinghy dock is solid, in great repair, and convenient. Larry welcomes cruisers! Water is available on site and he’s putting in a commercial grade laundry on the property.
