**UPDATE**#2024 I went for my random road trip for Omas Potato Pancakes. Drove an hour to get them. AND SO HAPPY I DID!! It's never been very busy when I've gone, and for a Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner place in a TOURIST Area you would expect more business than JUST ME at lunch time on a SUNDAY. But the potato pancakes are my FAVORITE THING ($15.51 for the dish) and I continue to make the trip for them. *Must be eaten hot and fresh, and please use the sour cream and applesauce as they MAKE THE DISH 2022 When I first walked in I was greated warmly and treated like a friend come for a visit. The Americano Lemonade is superb. Sweet, sour, strong and pretty. The Bacon Cheddar Potato Pancakes are crisp and flavorful. The Traditional Schnitzel is tender and full of authentic German flavor. Come as a guest and leave as a friend. **UPDATE** 2022 Went back today with the family. We enjoyed it very much and plan on coming back again. Kid-friendliness: Kids meals. Not spicy. Family friendly.

Well, it's average for German food. Probably takes advantage of being in a tourist town and not worrying about repeat customers. Wife ordered the Pot Roast. Her comments were that it was unseasoned and luke warm. I ordered the schnitzel, which had a nice lemon flavoring to it, but not much else to it. Also, they serve my least favorite fries. Last but what came first was the drinks, Pepsi and Dr. Pepper taste flat as if they removed 6 or 7 of the 23 flavors. But the tea that they replaced it with tasted much better. The potatoe pancakes and pretzel that the tables around me ordered look good. Wish we would have tried those. For everything being OK at best, the price is not worth it.

Delicious food. Loved the pineapple upside down cocktail and pork schnitzel. Server was very attentive and nice. Cozy comfy atmosphere.

So good! This place is a whole experience! The food was PHENOMENAL, service was great, and the atmosphere was exactly what we were looking for!

The red cabbage and schnitzel were so good, service was great, and we inhaled that chocolate cake!

Delicious and authentic German food! Possibly the best restaurant in the area!

Hidden gem. Do yourself a favor and get a beer and schnitzel here asap.
