Whitefish Lake Restaurant

This was our first time at this restaurant and the service was OUTSTANDING! We had Britt M (had to look at the receipt to remember her name) she was very kind and even when we had a complication with my meal she stepped up to make sure it was handled and went above and beyond our expectations. We appreciate both our server and the hostess this evening, she was also very helpful and kind regarding our issues! Definitely will be back next time we’re in the area even if my food had some issues. As former servers we know things happen but excellent service can almost make up for the food 100% of the time.

Solid appetizers. Entree’s were delicious and cooked to order. Wine was good and the right temperature. Kelly was a great server and we look forward to requesting her next time we eat here. Corkage fee was a little aggressive, but whatever. Will be back.

Highly recommended by locals. This place has a very unassuming entrance and frankly strange walk around the bar to the dining area. It definitely doesn't exude the experience or food that we received here. Very attentive and polite staff. Delicious food from the tuna tartare and escargot to the ribs, saltemboca and Prime rib. I feel like for the price and level of dining experience this place is unique. Maybe a little off-putting volume and atmosphere, especially seated near the bar. But otherwise highly recommend for high quality food and service. Would visit again.

We went last night and the most amazing meal! We were greated immediately by the hostess, seated and our waitress was wonderful. They mixed up a great cocktail by combining two different ones. The mushrooms for appetizer were the best ever! The creamy marsala on the new York strip...delicious! The king crab was buttery goodness. The prime rib end cap done perfectly. Silky smooth creme brulee. The gingerbread dessert, recommended by the waitress was warm and comforting.

This is one of my favorite places in the entire valley. Food is excellent. Staff is great. Love it!

We go there for special occasions, anniversaries, or birthdays every couple of years or so. Never disappointed good food, great service.

The food was incredible and our server was super nice. However, we went there for a nice, romantic, quiet dinner for my husband’s birthday and what we experienced was far from that. There was a company Christmas party for a bank going on and when we were first sat down, we noticed how loud some of the people were. Sadly it just got progressively worse. It distracted us during our dinner and interfered with us having conversation, but still wasn’t too big of a deal until the night went on, and the drinks were evidently flowing for the group, and they became louder and louder. The noise level became obnoxious, and most tables were staring at that group. I couldn’t believe that this was acceptable at such an upscale restaurant. When we got to the point where we were ready to box up our food and think about dessert, we finally (kindly) mentioned to our server that the noise from that group was ruining our experience and she offered to move us. We took her up on that and moved a couple tables over which helped a tad bit but, again, they kept drinking and kept getting louder. Overall, the food was great and our server was helpful, but had we known that’s what it would be like there we would have never gone. It was definitely not the environment for that type of behavior. It ruined everybody else’s dinner experience that night. We are a younger couple and can have fun with the best of them but this was just a disappointing experience.

We popped in late after work, no reservation...and everyone...mainly Cari and Signe ... we're happy to seat us and make us feel at home. We live here...we come back because the food is amazing and the staff so friendly. The filet mignon is always spot on....love it....thanks chef !!! Awesome !!
