Whiskey Cake Tampa

I've been here 3 times. The 1st and 2nd time the food, drinks and service was amazing. This last time the whole experience was horrible. The food was cold and lacking flavor. Our waitress was no where to be found. After we finished some of our meal as we were starving, we waited about 20 mins before she came by to check on us. We asked for a box and the check. She brought a box but no check. Another 15 mins go by and so happens a lady, I'm assuming a manager, came by our table. I explained to her how bad our night had been and that we just wanted our check so we could leave. She brought our check and did take off the one meal that was inedible. She was very apologetic and I appreciated that. Because of her, I will give it another try sometime in the future and hope to have a great experience like the other 2 times.

Attended a networking event this evening- Gavin our server was nothing short of amazing! Attentive, thorough, kind - grace under pressure!!

This is a great place for casual eats especially if you’re looking for good drinks as well. The service was pleasant with a smile and you had multiple choices of what atmosphere you wanted- outside in shade; outside in sun; inside at a table or at the bar. A little disappointed the outside bar wasn’t open. The food was fresh and filling with good portions. I had the smoked chicken salad. A good pour of wine but not a great pour…I have experienced great pours elsewhere. Great location and of course plenty of parking.

Fantastic drinks and desserts… which is all we came for this evening! We tried one of both desserts and boy are they delectable. We all kind of agreed their seasonal Japanese pumpkin cheesecake was lighter and super tasty, where the whiskey cake is pretty heavy with those pecans and spice, but both were delicious.

Parking: Large parking lot as it is part of the mall.

This place was recommended to me & did not disappoint. All aspects of this side-quest were exceptional.
