We took our 8th grade boys basketball team there as an outing after winning their Illinois State Champions to celebrate their win . This would be my second experience that did not go very smoothly. From the moment we walked in, the energy at the front desk felt off. We went in to bowl and do laser tag. It was 11 boys and about 11 adults. They boys were set to bowl and did complete their game of bowling but when it was time for laser tag, the boys we able to complete one half hour game but we were told that they were “booked” for the next two hours and could not book another game. However, when observing, no one ever showed up and laser tag was never occupied for the next few hours. We had another group of players, our 6th grade team show up and as the boys were mingling together, a person from the staff told our 8th grade boys they couldn’t mingle with with other team or be in their space. So, my approach is first off, why? And secondly, why are you talking to our kids are they are not being disrespectful or disruptive. It is way too much to write but the overall experience was disheartening and we spent a ton of money on gaming and food. No apology or any credit. At least on my first experience the guy was apologetic and gave me a small credit for next visit which I never used.
whirlyball game is fun! a little tricky at first but our referee, Xavier was super helpful and funny. the kids loved him. drinks were overpriced and too sweet but good compared to other places. nachos were amazing. the middle aged blonde woman manager seems like she doesn’t know what she’s doing, absolutely useless if you have questions
Had an absolute blast It seemed rather dead, prices seem a little high, food seems a little expensive but great beer selection and very different style of bowling I enjoyed.
Hosted a 30th birthday party for ~40 people here and it was excellent! Whirlyball was a great activity to start the night for an hour with food and drink tickets. We were able to move the party upstairs for an hour of bowling with cake and a piñata. Staff was very friendly (Dee was our waiter and was excellent!). Planning was made simple with customizable packages. A bit on the pricey side, but worth it for a well run and fun event.
I play every Monday night in the league, so I really enjoy the place. Beer is good, and the food is great
I went this passed Friday I reserved for hr. for bowling. it was my husband birthday. and honestly we didn't had a waitress for us. we didn't had no one helping us. the customer service what not it. we waited for our food over an hr. and still not their. they kick us out of the bowling when we did not had hr. there. it was not worth with the money I spend there. they were giving me an attitude to me for no reason. made alot of reason why they did not wanted to give my money back for the food everyone was hungry n everyone left bc we were hungry. maybe because we were the only color people. but don't recommend.
