I recently dined at Whip My Soul restaurant and was thoroughly impressed by their 2 Wings, 2 Fish, and 2 Tenders Platter. The fried catfish was a standout, with a fluffy, light texture and a super crispy coating that truly melted in your mouth. While the tenders were decent taste-wise, I found them to be lacking compared to the exceptional catfish. The wings were nothing short of perfection, cooked to a golden crisp on the outside while retaining an incredibly juicy interior The side dishes were a delightful surprise - the red beans and rice with sausage were very flavorful, and the cornbread was a perfect complement to the meal. I am eager to return and explore more of their menu offerings. The customer service at Whip My Soul was commendable, and the atmosphere was pleasant with great music adding to the overall dining experience. However, I would suggest that management discourage employees from lingering around the front register; during my visit, I observed an employee resting their head on the counter which detracted from an otherwise positive impression. In conclusion, Whip My Soul offers delicious food with standout items like their fried catfish, accompanied by excellent sides. With a few minor improvements in employee conduct, this restaurant has the potential to become a go-to spot for flavorful meals in a welcoming setting.

Had the fish, tenders, wings, greens, Mac and cornbread. Everything was on point. Place was clean, comfortable vibe and the service was great. Highly recommend!!

10/10 must try.

Besides myself my mother & children enjoy the food like no other restaurants. Wholesome good food for the body, mind & Soul..

Wow, very rarely does the food and customer service match! The food was delish and the customer service was phenomenal! we will be back to try the rest of the menu!

Read great reviews so decided to check it out with the whole fam (1 adults, 3 kids). Ordered the oxtail, chicken and waffles, shrimp plate and Mac and cheese. We spent $90 which seems like a lot. And unfortunately, when the food came out, we were immediately disappointed by the small portions. First off, the oxtail, which had excellent flavors and were falling off the bone, was over $30 for 3 pieces of oxtail and two sides. While it tasted good, at that price point, not worth it. The kids devoured the chicken and waffles so fast that dad didn't get any food. They said it was good but wanted more. The shrimp plate was the most disappointing. For $20 you get a small handful of (5-6?) medium sized shrimp with batter just falling off as soon as you pick it up. Mac and cheese was cheesy and good. Overall, we are glad we tried it, it all tastes good but for the price and portions, we don't plan to return.
