Whataburger

Update: went there at 10:30 I ordered a number 12 which is a spicy chicken sandwich and they gave me the wrong order. I am pissed because I did not order that and I feel as though they should pay more attention to what they are doing instead of doing whatever they please.

There was nothing against the food because I never received it. I pulled up at the first drive up, closest to the building. I waited for a few mins. I actually thought they were closed. So I googled on my phone Whataburger near me…it’s 24 hrs. Anyway, another car pulls up to the drive thru. Then I immediately hear a voice say, may I help you!! I said out loud, “is this side not working because I’ve been waiting”. Then someone softly says “hold on”. They proceeded to take the other persons order after being the first person there and patiently waiting on someone to even speak. So, I just pulled off. I was very unhappy with the service this morning!! I’ve never worked fast food, but I’ve always thought it was a way for the employees to know who arrived first!!

***NEW EDIT FOR OUR VISIT on 4/7/24*** Not sure what happened but they have gone down hill significantly since our last visit. My wife ordered in the app and I ordered on the spur of the moment. Her hamburger was cold and soggy and looked like it had been made by a toddler. Her fries were also cold. The only thing hot was the apple pie and it was burn your lips hot. I ordered an apple pie and a chocolate shake just as an impulse buy and my apple pie was brought to me about 10 minutes before her order was finally ready. My shake was brought to me shortly after her meal. The manager handed me my "chocolate" shake which looked rather white to be a chocolate shake. I reminded her that I'd ordered a chocolate shake and she informed me quite adamantly that what I had WAS a chocolate shake and that she'd just made it. Far be it from me to argue with a manager so I said "oh, thanks" and went and sat down to enjoy my apple pie and "chocolate" shake. The pie was excellent and my "chocolate" shake was delicious, even though it was the blondest, most vanilla tasting and least chocolaty "chocolate" shake I've ever had. My wife asked for a refund for her burger since it was so sloppy and soggy that it was inedible only to be informed that app and online purchases had to be refunded online. Won't be back. Awesome food awesome service. Their credit card system was down and we had freebies with purchase on the app. Manager honored our freebie deal and comped our meals since all whe had with us was cards. We were going to go to the ATM for cash, but he insisted. This is customer service. Other businesses should take note. Thank you for such great service. We will definitely be visiting again soon.

Food was very tasty. Hot crispy fries. Love how they bring the food out to you and staff was very polite.

Night shift at this establishment doesn’t deserve one star for service especially with online orders I have been a few times waiting up to an hour around 10pm and later they hide to not take orders from walk ins and they will say they gave your online order to someone else it shouldn’t take 30 minutes of sitting inside when you ordered online 20 minutes before
