It was very fast and easy using the app, but I was very curious to see the reviews because upon learning the drive-thru requires ordering ahead I assumed a lot of customers that don’t typically order ahead or via an app would be frustrated or confused by the process here. I feel like this concept would work better if they just allowed customers to also order at the drive-thru instead of forcing the app or kiosk to place an order.
Looks like it’s closed since you order online or at kiosk. Pick up from locker. You can see the humans if you go to the emergency service window in front.
Uh, this doesn't solve any problem that exist with Whataburger or fast food in general. You still order and wait to get it and it is terrible. You can use the app at traditional locations. You can go through a drive through at traditional locations, why is this a thing? Whataburger went from being a Texas staple to a McDonalds.
Absolutely hate this. The menu is non-responsive to touch. You have to skip through several menu options in order to check out. It is a pain a headache and I hate it and you can't even come in to wash your hands or use the restroom or sit down and eat. What a terrible idea
Not a fan of the new digital kitchen. It's the simple things you miss with this. Can't go in and wash your hands before eating. They don't just throw in catchup. They want you to already have ordered your food before going through the drive through. It's hard to order on the app while you are driving. It's just missing the mark a bit. I would expect something like this from In&Out Burger but not Whataburger.
Chicken Wings? Not Just tried the limited time offer chicken wings or should I say nuggets. In general I'm a fan of Whataburger but they missed the mark on this one. Where to start, when you first take a look you're greeted with a great variety of nugget sizes, from tiny to rather large, 3x of a McDonald's chicken nugget. Makes you wonder if you got a good deal or not. Next the nuggets weren't hot. I went to pick them up at peak lunch rush and they were luke warm. Under further investigation they looked like heat lamp nuggets. The skin or crust was semi soggy not crisp and had that cafeteria or frozen nugget taste. Chicken breading with some pepper added. Yes I had the plain. I did so because I'm a fan of gravy and thought this would be a good way to get that chicken and gravy fix, unfortunately this didn't do the trick. At all most 10.00 for 9? Nuggets it just can't compete with next doors Cane's offering. Wish Cane's offered gravy.
Service was great and food was delicious! This was the fastest Whataburger I've ever been to!
I love this location!!! When you think Whataburger you don’t think speed and my order only took six minutes to have ready after I ordered! The app is easy to use and the person at the window was very friendly. As someone who works in food service I absolutely love the digital kitchen that they have set up here and I hope they don’t close down because of all the people that don’t like the app or having to order through a kiosk.
