Whadda jerk

Lowkey spot with great atmosphere. The jerk wings were 10 outta 10. Definitely hot. Drinks weren't the tastiest and not really strong so stick with your go to. I'd still go back and give it another try.

Where do I start first and foremost? The hospitality was sensational! Everyone was so nice from the waiters to the host to the dishwashers. They were so friendly and accommodating . They smiled said thank you greeted and didn’t have you waiting. They made me feel noticed and important. Everyone felt genuinely nice, like Chick-fil-A nice. The ambience was incredible - Swings Stage TVs all over showing sports and a variety of music played to cater to different tastes . Nicely fun lit sexy beautiful for a date and I turned up on a karaoke night as well. lastly, the food was delicious and the prices were reasonable. Definitely one of my top restaurants now oh yea clean as a whistle. I didn’t want to give too good of a review because I don’t want the place packed out the next time I go, but they deserve every bit of this review. Who’s ever running that place is genius. It’s my ideal restaurant

Paid 40 for them to let us in. after 1200 but they wouldn’t. Let us in after 1;30.

Payed 40$ to get in. They wouldn’t let me in after 1:30 after they already told us they were going to let us in when we stepped out at 1 am. Smh. Would not recommend.

Gave me a different cognac than what i asked for! Cheaper cognac! Thats not what i paid for. Oh i see when i do i review you all respond! But not to everybody else! I told the person that check me out that it wasnt the cognac that order. But you getting hostel basically saying im a negative person! Other ppl on her gave worse reviews than i did. Money was never a problem just give me what i ask for. I didnt ask for discount you'll just gave it to me! You knew what you gave me wasnt what i ask for! All off sudden you didnt have the cognac, then turn around and state that you had it! It’s fine i will never support this business again! Your response was very unprofessional.

Security at the door sets the tone for the kind of people that would be in attendance. The owners can not be Jamaican! I feel disrespected. Not inviting! This is Wicker Park and I grew up there, it’s diverse but I feel this place only caters to blacks. I went over to Fatpour and the energy was instantly inviting and FUN! The music was entirely too loud! I could not hear myself speak. The rum punch tasted like fruit punch. The food was mediocre. The tab came with a $20 gratuity. Server brought food and NEVER saw her again! 2 dinners and 2 drinks w/ 2 shots that were in .5 0z sample plastic cups! $100 bill! The tables were chipped and cheap. The bartenders need to be trained better and have bad attitudes. I feel as though they robbed my husband! I will not return.
