Great shrimp creole Flesh buns and bread baked in house

Ribs - not very tender Catfish - small nuggets and low seasoning Cheese Dip - solid Tamales - solid Famous chocolate pie - not too famous Gumbo - low seasoning Jambalaya - solid Fries - solid Cajun pasta - low seasoning Not my favorite anything. Can’t say we will be back.

So the wings went from being raw like blood oozing raw to so singed I didn't even recognize what was in the basket. I was so grief-striken as to what was on my plate and the audacity that the cook, and the server...had to bring such unappetizing food to the table..the taste of the chicken was bitter because the singed meat was cooked to where it was completely black and burnt making it inedible and it made one of us sick. The wings were drenched in mango habanero sauce. I attempted to taste the burnt chicken and my tastebuds immediately rejected it. Westys is a sweet place normally but that night was very surprising.

We were a party of 5 but only order 3 dishes & an appetizer. The fried green tomatoes, Alfredo pasta, a pb&j, & a marinated chicken salad. Everything was cold when it got to us. The breading on the tomatoes was not seasoned, the marinated chicken barely had flavor, the pb&j was a lot more simple for its price than expected (it was toasted but cold when it arrived) There was only one waitress running everything, I believe the bartender ended up helping with tables. The food was not worth the wait & was overpriced. It is an easy location to get to & the server was nice but definitely needed help. I would not recommend this place to anyone & will not be returning. Also to note would not be an easy to access location for someone in a wheelchair, it is a tight squeeze to walk to the one stall restroom but there is a changing table, if you can't get side parking there is a pay to park that is $2 & some change for an hour but go ahead and pay for 2 hours to accommodate the wait. Parking: Lots of close pay to park a little under $3 for an hour of parking. Free street parking Wheelchair accessibility: This is not a wheelchair friendly establishment. There is a step up, uneven paths, & a tight area to weave through tables

Awesome food

Food was great! I reccomend the wild rice bowls. It is a little loud, but a very pleasant place. Service was prompt and although the cook forgot my chicken, the waitress quickly remedied the issue. Portions of the rice bowls are a little small for the price, but the taste was awesome.
