If I could leave 0 stars just because of Jillian, then I would. The spot is nice but the bartender/waitress Jillian is a thief. Jillian took my bf's ID and held it hostage for multiple days. We had to contact management and her just to get it back when the ID never should've been kept in the first place. Jillian is bad for business!
Great spot and everything however the Waiter/bartender name Jillian took my driver license for days and wouldn’t give it back until I reached out to management multiple times. Not to mention that she made a mistake and charged my card twice. She is bad for business
Super chill and very well ventilated. Great service and great people
It's always a vibe here! I went alone & made connections. There's a different offering nightly from karaoke to live band to dj to just chill. And although they don't serve food, vendors set up or food trucks pull up. This was a chicken alfredo eggroll from Castletop Treats. Delish! I love their old fashioned & other dark liquor cocktail offerings.
West Jax is great for a nice & fun night. West Jax has a really great selection of cigars & drinks. There's lots of comfy places to sit & relax at. I was able to try the King Cake cigar which has a really great flavor. I also had a tiramisu martini which is very pretty. The smoked old fashions have top quality ingredients that make them very smooth. Great service & a great place to go hang out and enjoy a cigar or drink.
Black-owned!!! First, I'd like to thank you for hosting this event for us Yelper's, it was greatly appreciated! I tell you, this is the best Yelp experience I've had, thus far. Of course, this is outside of our events. Thanks to some of the other reviews, I was able to figure out the parking. I drove around, twice, before thinking to read the reviews in hopes someone explained the puzzle. Wallah, there it was and there I went. When walking in, I noticed the cleanliness of the establishment and the ambiance. I chose the best time to visit, three wonderful ladies (fellow Yelpers) joined and it made the experience even better. We were lucky to be the only three in the establishment, which gave us time to chat with Jay (one of the owners) and learn more about the cigar lounge. We spoke about so many things, I enjoyed this outing. On Saturday nights, they have a food truck that visits in the early evening. You can kick back and enjoy some drinks, hookah/cigars, and some good food all in one. Jay did say they bring in a DJ to add to the weekend vibes, that's another thing to look forward to. I had a pomegranate martini, it was delicious and was well-made. This is on my list of regulars, I'm not a serious cigar smoker, but I'd go to have a drink or two; and enjoy the company. I will say, that I get what some others have said about the gratuity. I never think about that when purchasing solo, it took me by surprise. As a whole, I never stiff folks when it comes to tipping for great service. The problem is, there aren't enough folks out there that tip, even with great service. We all have to suffer for that mess, welcome to the new dining out. BLACK OWNED, and the place to be!
Cool warm vibes and impeccable customer service. The establishment has a beautiful lounge, an outside patio, hookah, huge selection of drinks, and a variety of cigars and accessories. The Jax piña colada was refreshing and the Cuban coffee was strong, rich, dark, sweet, and beyond delicious. I highly recommend their drinks! Jaie the owner made great suggestions and I plan to go back when I have enough time to relax and take it all in. Next visit I'm purchasing the three cold stixx cocktail from their featured menu. Double check, but I believe they have food vendors nightly Wed-Sat. On the day I went they were having catfish & oxtails. Wish I could've stayed for the delicious food. I had already been there 3 hrs relaxing and talking with Jaie and a few individuals I had the pleasure of meeting during my visit.
This is the modern-day version of the spot my Aunt Kate and Uncle Owen used to own back in the Juke Joint days. West Jax is the beauty of sophistication meets goodtimes! This gem of an establishment is located on 8th Avenue in Ft. Worth and is well worth the pit stop. Reminiscent of days gone by West Jax more than delivers when it comes to relaxing vibes and libations. Jay, who was our curator, was knowledgeable and well versed in all things cigar and pairings. Ole school jams played lightly over head while light conversations and sweet aromas peppered the atmosphere. West Jax offers hookah, hand rolled cigars, and an amply stocked bar. Whether you stop for happy hour or just to dust off the day with a good stogie and a scotch. West Jax is the way to go. Check It Out!!!
West Jax Cigars & Spirits proved to be a haven for cigar enthusiasts like myself, offering a refined and welcoming atmosphere that set it apart from the rest. From the moment I stepped inside, the warm ambiance and meticulous attention to detail were evident, creating an exceptional experience. The impressive selection of cigars was complemented by the staff's extensive knowledge, guiding me to find the perfect cigar for my taste during my first visit. The friendly assistance and laid-back vibe made the initiation into the world of cigars a seamless and enjoyable process. The highlight of my visit was the expertly curated pairing of cigars with a variety of spirits. The bar boasted a nice selection, and I couldn't resist trying the signature cocktail, the Smoked Rosemary Blackberry Bourbon Sour. This delightful concoction proved to be the perfect companion to my Tatiana Vanilla Dominican cigar, featuring a unique blend of rich vanilla flavors with a sugary sweet aroma. Additionally, the Java Mint cigar and Tiramisu were delightful discoveries that added to the overall enjoyment of the evening. The lounge area exuded coziness, featuring comfortable seating that made it easy to unwind and savor my cigar. Notably, the attention to ventilation was commendable, ensuring a pleasant environment for everyone, regardless of their smoking preference.
