Wayside Noodles - Campus Pointe

My wife and I ate dinner here this evening. We chose this place because it was the least busy restaurant in campus pointe, it wasn’t until we were too far in to realize that we should have taken this as a warning. As we entered, the server let us know we could sit wherever we wanted. We took a seat at a table and immediately noticed the layer of grease and stickiness all over the table top. Rather quickly, the waitress served each of us a glass of water, and gave us a few minutes with the menus (which were also wet). When she returned and took our order, she walked away and it was the last time we spoke to her. Another family came in shortly after us, they were seated, and waited for service for over 10 minutes, service never came. They got up and exited. The waitress silently gave us our food, refused to acknowledge our empty water glasses, and walked away. As for the food, it was average at best. As my wife put it, “it’s hard to mess up fried rice.” She did not glance at our table again for the remainder of our beverage-less meal. Not for a lack of trying on our part, who tried to signal her or catch her glance multiple times. She ignored our table completely. You would think us lepers. The only acknowledgment she gave customers was when placing their ordered items on their table. Once our meal was finished, we sat and waited for the check for over 10 minutes. Defeated, I stood and walked to the counter and settled our bill. We will NOT be returning to wayside noodles.

I have a horrible shellfish allergy and haven't had anything that could have cross-contamination in years. Tonight I really was craving Thai and I decided to take a chance and have it delivered. I couldn't be happier!!!! Thank you for giving me an option and not being afraid of ordering again. Everything I sampled (as I got a handful of items to eat over the next day or two, was absolutely amazing! I highly recommend coming here, even if you are like me and have a bad shellfish allergy, as they seem to take it seriously and it was delicious! I was super excited to see that Wayside noodles had reopened at Fresno State after moving from fig Garden. I always enjoyed their food and it was pretty excellent. I cannot say the same about this new location. When my girlfriend and I went here for lunch, the place was absolutely filthy. There was food stuck to the table and there was a fine greasy film on the menus and all of the condiment bottles. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting and looked like nobody had cleaned it for a week. The food on the other hand was excellent however, given the state of the facilities, I have to wonder about their food safety and handling. The service was absolutely terrible despite there only being four or five other guests in the restaurant. We basically had to flag down the server anytime we wanted anything. We sat there for a good 10 to 15 minutes after finishing our meal before the waiter sauntered over with our check. The terrible cleanliness and service coupled with the high prices did not offset the excellent food. Overall, was disappointed and will probably not be going back.

Really good Pho. Nancy was our server. Very attentive and nice. Drinks were good.

The pho suck that i couldn't finish it. They made it so soft, the noodles just melts in my mouth like rice porridge. I was disappointed in their food but they have good service.

I've always given them a chance when I am in the area, but they always seem to disappoint. When they were at Fig Garden, they had terrible food. Food was either late, tasteless, or poorly made. I remember my vermicelli noodles were cold or soggy. But now they moved over by Fresno state, and I thought they would improve. The drinks here are always so plain. Idk why it's always like that. My lychee jasmine milk tea tastes like just plain ice water with lychee jelly. There's nothing else. Not even sweetness the wings were tasty, but I don't think I'll pay $10 for 6 pieces again.

Setting and service is really high quality. Food was delicious

Great eggrolls and pho. Parking: There is limited parking directly around the spot but there is plenty parking beyond behind Mad Duck restaraunt.
