Wasabi Juan's The Battery

My wife works here It's great. Food is good and the drinks are cold. Parking isn't great but everything can't be perfect.

I will always love this place, but the 420 nachos tasted different than I remember.

Very nice and helpful staff. The food definitely leans toward Japanese as opposed to Mexican, but it was still good. Very unique restaurant.

The food was so bad that I threw my order away and left for a different restaurant. I’m not sure how the ratings are so high. Nothing about this place is authentic.

I work next door to this place and the owner kindly let me try an experiment frushi burrito, and let me tell ya this thing was absolutely phenomenal hope to see this on the menu soon. Already ready for another one.

First time here and tried the sushi nachos. Such a great dish that you can’t get just anywhere! The flavor was incredible but the value wasn’t so great. I spent about $15 a piece for my meal and for each of my son’s meals. They got the sushi burritos and rated them a 6/10. One of my sons immediately wondered aloud about their profit margin. I would definitely go back but hope they increase the amount of food for the price.

Updated 12-22-2023 In general I do enjoy the food here. However, the costs are out of control. Sub their really terrible chips for a small handful of Doritos and they surcharge almost $2 with tax. Come on... Lunch here is $20 with 20% tip and decent chips and the portions are generally small these days. I used to be a really big fan. Not so much anymore.

One of the best fusion restaurants in the downtown… delicious and eaten twice!!!
