Wasabi Japanese Steakhouse

One of my favorite restaurants in Knoxville! The best hibachi in town. The food is always excellent and the chef never disappoints. I recommend sitting at the grill for the full effect of the hibachi experience. Come hungry and expect to take some with you because the portions are very generous. We both had the ribeye, chicken and shrimp with the Tiger Roll sushi as an appetizer. Excellent! Dietary restrictions: At the grill they can leave out any ingredient you request.

Service wasn't the best. The server didn't really listen when I repeatedly asked for things and still never got them by the time the meal was over.

Twice in a row I order the same thing which was over $70 and twice in a row. It's cooked completely wrong. They refuse to refund money when they know that they are wrong and would rather argue with a customer. So before you spend your hard-earned money here, think twice. Shrimp left with the shells on overcooked like rubber. Can't even pull them apart, steak overcooked so bad that it's literally unable to be cut with scissors. I order California rolls which I don't even know what the heck I was given two soups that were wrong. Everything is wrong all the time at this place. What is going on with you people and where is my last two refunds? Thieves!
