Wasabi Jane's Rice & Noodle Works

My family and I ate at Wasabi Jane for the first time on 7/3/16 (4th of July weekend). One of the employees was sampling sesame chicken and BBQ chicken- yum! That hooked us into eating there for lunch. We had noodles, sesame chicken, and BBQ chicken. The staff was very friendly, and the food was great. Best of all, no MSG. This will be our new Chinese go-to restaurant. :)

The food tastes fresh, the mixed vegetables are crunchy (not over cooked or stewing in water etc) and they have Japanese ramune sodas in multiple flavors. I appreciate that they have a vegetable plate option, though I'm not positive anything is vegan in particular. Food and customer service warrant 4 stars at least but I hate that they serve in styrofoam.

The mustard chicken was incredible and the rice was worlds better than most quick order Asian restraints. The orange chicken was nice and crispy unlike most soggy orange chicken out there. I don't understand all the other negative reviews. My only guess is that Jane's made some positive changes.

The food was good but the staff made me feel like a criminal. I chose the mustard chicken which was delicious. It was reasonably priced. They filled my carton and placed it on top of the counter. Pick it up and pay for it, right? Nope. I reached for it. The kid at the counter slams his hand on it and without making eye contact says, "Please leave it here." I almost walked away from my meal. I should have. So, like the food but I won't be back. Get better staff if you want to keep customers.

Do yourself a favor and don't make the same mistake I did. Nothing good about this place. The chicken was full of fat. Everything had a smokey flavor on top of the already terrible flavor. Mushy. Bad texture. It will be a miracle if I survive the next two days.

I have ate at Wasabi Jane's 4 times now. Each time my food is consistently cold, and the chinese guy who is there all the time cheats me on the portion of food he gives. HE gives you hardly a scoop of chicken. When your paying for food don't skimp people. The reason why I ate wasabi janes is, because Kelly's Cajun grill , the other chinese place across from you is undergoing a renovation.

Nice staff and good food

Very rude service!!! Rice was crunchy and hard! Not fully cooked!
