Walmart Bakery

My entire experience ordering a cake from Walmart 10500 W Colonial Drive, Ocoee Florida was HORRIBLE & I will NEVER order from this store again! 2 weeks ago I went in person to ask how far in advance do I need to place an order for my son’s 2nd birthday cake and was told 24hr in advance both online and in person. The lady had an attitude as if I wasn’t suppose to disturb her. 24 hours before, I go online to order the cake and was given a pick up date 3 days later. I called the store to speak with someone in bakery and the customer service agent said they do not have a phone and most likely wont want to come to her location to take the call. After demanding to speak to the manager, someone from bakery appeared and informed me that I would have to come in person. I had to rush to leave work early (which caused me to lose money) to order my son’s cake. I arrived and placed the order for a green cake with black trimmings. A simple cake. Fast forward to pick up time. The label clearly said the description, how can someone prepare this order and make the cake white and black when the order slip clearly said green and black? That person completely ruined my son’s 2nd birthday cake. Whoever made it should not be task with the important role of creating special cakes for memorable events such as my son’s 2nd birthday because I am yet to understand how can they make such a careless mistake without even double checking to make sure it was accurate. Dear General Manager, you need to look into the type of service your employees are providing the customers who keep this store running. They are rude and extremely careless. Thanks to this attitude, my child’s cake is ruined. The only positive thing I could say was about the gentleman who helped to try rectify the issue (although nothing can be done but choose to keep it or leave it) he kept his professionalism while dealing with two hurt and angry parents. He showed empathy for the mistake of his coworker and those are the type of people needed who can provide excellent customer service and not the ones there who shows they are only in the position for a pay check.
