Poorly managed place. Won't be back. Good food. Long wait to get seated. Had to remind my server that I had ordered a cocktail. And I don’t want to hear how busy they were the place was half empty!

Nice looking place. Plenty to choose from. Food was mediocre at best for the price.

Had a reservation for Christmas Day dinner, decided to leave after 30 minutes of waiting past our scheduled time. While waiting, we discovering 4 other parties were also waiting with the same reservation time, and more people were joining the waiting area. It appears to be a staffing problem, not a lack-of-effort problem. The three different host/esses were all friendly and put on a positive face despite the pressure they were put under. All of the staff were hustling, so it may be an organizational problem.

Great 1st impression! New Years weekend, so numbers were a bit lower than expected. But the restaurant was beautiful in decor and calming color scheme. I ordered the Caramel Apple French Toast and I will say, it was the best French Toast I have ever eaten!!! No syrup needed. My husband had their Belgian Waffle with berries. He is a southern guy who likes his eggs, biscuits and gravy, so i was shocked when he ordered a waffle. He ate it all, and it looked fabulous!The staff was on top and had great etiquette! Would definitely recommend!

The waiter looked at me crazy when I wanted to add or remove things to my burger that I ordered. I didn't care for the spicy sauce, because I can't handle too much spice, and he looked offended that I wanted to do that. The burger patty had NO flavor to it. No salt or pepper or anything. Just tasted like grease. I had to drench it in condiments to be able to eat it. Surprisingly the fries were very much seasoned. We had to waive for the waiter to ask for things and to get the check so we waited a lot. Honestly not worth the price of the food.

We went for the Thanksgiving buffet and it was outstanding. So many different kinds of foods. Like 25-30, and that's not including the dessert table. Great prime rib and pork loin carving stations. And everything was delicious. It was very spacious, not crowded. Easy to get your plate filled. And nobody rushed you out. Staff was very attentive and friendly. Collard greens, multicolored carrots in a glaze, brussels sprouts roasted with bacon, mac and cheese, green bean casserole, garlic mashed, roasted potatoes, sauteed broccolini, shimp with grits and andouille sausage, creamed spinach,cranberry sauce, gravy, fried chicken, sweet potatoes with pecans and marshmallows, chicken pot pie, stuffing, some kind of corn pudding/casserole, fried fish and hush puppies, ham, turkey Then cold shrimp (peeled and huge), oysters on the half shell, mussels, crayfish salad, smoked salmon, salad bar, rolls Then a carving station with melt in your mouth prime rib with horseradish sauce and pork loin with apple bourbon glaze sauce. Then a huge dessert table with cookies, chocolate layer cake, lemon layer cake, strawberry layer cake, pumpkin pie, pecan pie, caramel cheesecake, blondie bars with caramel and chocolate chips, carrot cake, and a cappuccino machine

I called 10 times. No one, not even the customer service representative who answered at the Galt House would help-they just kept transferring me to the restaurant and I was sent to the same voicemail. It’s very obvious they are not at all interested in having guests, so we went elsewhere. We’ve dined at the Galt House for 20 years on Thanksgiving and this year we’re starting a new tradition. I’m not staying there as a hotel guest anymore.

Terrible service. Food mediocre. Had to wait forever for drinks, soups came out 30 minutes before salads. Incapable of bringing everyone’s food together and the wait staff seemed surprised and inconvenienced when asked. Worst dining experience we’ve had in a long time. Never again. Don’t bother.
