First time to this location and was not impressed. First coffee was cold. Place was packed understandable but waited a good minute for refills. Grits were lumpy and salty. Waffles which I was really excited about was a huge disappointment it was as flat as the plate it came on. Price was responsible but not for what we got. Good thing we didn’t need salt we noticed a bug in it.
I drive trucks so I make orders online this is the last time I do so. I truly hate complaining especially since it’s African Americans I’m complaining about. But the lady tonight was totally rude and Sam she game my food to someone else. If your not going to pay attention to what your doing then don’t do it. And if you do not have good customer service please work in the kitchen. When I order my food and you give it to someone else learn to take owner ship for it. Totally disrespectful and 100% should not be working online or up front with that attitude. The only black person there and representing us with attitude. I come in and say I ordered online - no you didn’t you must be at the wrong place we don’t have orders for anyone. Really well per my text and credit card it’s for here - after a few mins she say ohhhh I gave it to a John well really my name is David. Then they redid the order for me to drive back to work and come back - FOR THE WRONG ORDER. And she wondered why I was pissed. WORST AND LAST TIME
about 9:30 am 2/12/24 Whoever the cook is working at this location, on this shift, needs to be fired- he clearly hates his job. Made an online order for the all star, my grandma just passed away on Saturday and I've been taking it kind of hard, haven't been able to leave the house yet. I noticed you can't make mods online, and I absolutely hate floppy bacon, so I thought no problem I'll just call them to let them know ahead of time. Well, they don't accept phone calls, the same message plays on repeat: "order online". Okay. I'll tell my boyfriend to ask if they can just cook the bacon a little longer when he goes to pick it up, explain we had already tried online. Boyfriend comes back and says apparently, this was too much to ask for for this cook. The ladies at the front, beautiful kind women according to him, but he noticed when they'd asked him to cook it longer, he looked at my boyfriend, then looked at the manager and said "Why am I remaking it", complaining and having an attitude to the point that my boyfriend offered to go back there and cook it himself, as he is also a cook at another restaurant. So to hear all this when he gets back, and when I open the to-go, still get floppy bacon? Crispy bacon does not fold, it will snap apart- this bacon folded. Not to mention the toast was burnt yet still somehow floppy too?? It's ridiculous. And forget about calling to get your money back, there's no way to reach a human being over the phone. All I wanted was a nice breakfast while going through a really hard time, I usually love Waffle House, but this was the biggest disappointment. The only good thing about the meal was the waffle, I want my money back for the soggy toast and floppy bacon.
I don’t have a Waffle House where I live, so it’s always a treat to drop in for breakfast. I could have gone without the waffle…. I’m stuffed, but you must have a waffle at the Waffle House. Karla was my server, and she was training Kayla. Service was exceptional today.
