Listen it was busy and at first I wasn’t impressed because I waited so long to be greeted and to get my food, even though it was an online order. however Ms. Whitney made it better. And looking how things run all I have to ask is Waffle House can you make it better for the waiter. Like adding a pay by yourself for those who dine in. We in 2024 and we can scan QR code to pay out. Getting someone to pay out can be simple with technology we use today. Cut one thing off for them just to help them out. They deserve it and thank you Ms. Whitney.

I usually don’t eat this late but I had a craving for breakfast. I don’t have high expectations for waffle houses in general but this was really disappointing and humiliating. First, when I walked in there’s a group of white guys sitting down in the corner and a line of black couples. When another customer behind me (Black lady) asked to come sit down at the booth, they told her that she couldn’t and the store is “take-out only”. I overheard the reason that they (the white guys) could sit down was because “they were tipping $100’s”. I felt bad for her and it felt so wrong. She left out upset of course. The atmosphere was racially segregated. All of the black people couldn't sit down and had to wait in line and order to go and the white people got to sit down and be served. I waited in line, standing up might I add, for 30 minutes. I didn’t even get to order because they were catering to the white guys. This was humiliating to say the least. Like I said previously, I don’t normally have high expectations for Waffle House and I completely understand lack of capacity but it’s no excuse to treat paying customers different. The lady running the night shift on 1/21/24 needs additional training and more staff. This is truly unacceptable!

I placed an order during my lunch break at work, and the order I was given was the complete opposite. I was up charged to order to go, but none of the things that I added on and paid for on my food was added. I was charged a total of over $20 but what I received was a simple bacon and egg sandwich and regular hash browns, which was totally opposite of what I asked for and paid for. To make matters worse, I can’t get anyone on the phone to call them and I worked until 6 PM and had a game to go to for my children.

It's disappointing when a 24 hour restaurant does not offer service at 6am in the morning. I'm not sure what waffle house's buiness plan is but this seems to the norm for most locations. More often than not, I've arrived at a waffle house in the early morning only to find it closed. With so many options at this particular location, you think they would at least have the courtesy to put up a closed sign. Instead the two employees inside just go about their business without acknowledging the parking of people.
