The night I was here there was one server and one cook. Im pretty sure it was a Saturday. They had a sign up saying they were only doing Togo orders on the door. ( what I wanted anyway) there were people inside and a few more came on n while I was there. The server and cook worked as one, like a dance! (I assume they’ve worked together forever)and had a great attitude. No complaining, no eye rolling, just focused on the task at hand. The place was clean no dishes piled anywhere, actually one of the cleanest locations Ive been in, including the bathroom! My food was ready faster than I’ve ever received an order at Waffle House. I literally thought waffles took 20 min to make there because it’s always taken at least that long to get my waffle before. I was out the door in 10 min! They add gratuity to all to go orders so that was literally the only money that server knew she would make and Still stayed to keep the doors open. ( I did tip extra) Honestly I can’t say I would have done the same. Those two employees are on point! I’ve seen a Waffle House close because there was only one server and she wasn’t going to “deal with it”.
