Got a call today from a colleague that they were waiting almost 5 minutes to be served. We were on the call for another 4 minutes, when the colleague had still not been served. There was one customer besides him in the restaurant. The server was speaking to the guest and did not once acknowledge my colleague. My colleague left and went to another Waffle House where he was greeted as soon as he opened the door and his order was taken right away. So, I went to this Waffle House soon after to see what would happen. I arrived about 12 minutes later and verified the server and cook via phone with my colleague. I went in and stood where he sat and waited. And waited. And waited. I was not acknowledged by the same server for 5 minutes and 18 seconds. There was now a lovely couple and no one else in the establishment. The server walked right pass me a few times and did not utter a word to me. He went to wipe tables that were already clean. When the cook was done cooking the food for the couple, she turned to me and said "Hi. What do you need?" She was nice. I told her that I only needed to see how long it would take the server to acknowledge me - of which he never did. Sucks for him because I usually tip 100% at Waffle House. She was cool - love a person who has blue hair. I am giving a 3 because it was only one person who was not courteous. Re-Training would be a great thing. Customer service means a lot! I will come back another time for my hash browns smothered, double covered, double diced, and chunked.
My first time at Waffle House and it was GREAT ! The service was good and the food was amazing especially their Signature waffles. I highly recommend!
This waffle house was so dirty bro , i walk in its plates everywhere napkins cups food everything on the tables & the counter tops , then soon as the lady asked me what im having i begin to talk she says im sorry what i have music in like huh i just left its 2:30 in the morning how is this place nasty like this ??
What can I say...Waffle house provides a very pleasant and reliable experience. They were not very crowded on my last visit so I engaged in pleasant conversation with the staff.
