Wabi Sabi

One of the few, if not the only ramen/Japanese restaurant in a sea of Middle Eastern, Persian, and Latino food spots in Albany Park. It’s steps away from Albany Park restaurant titans Kabobi and Noon O Kabab. A small and unassuming spot that serves sushi rolls, an array of pan-Asian appetizers, rice bowls and several varieties of Ramen. Their Japanese fare appetizers like the vegetable & shrimp combo tempura, takoyaki balls and soft shell crab tempura are highly recommended. The ramen is the star of their menu. Serving delicious filling bowls of ramen in varieties such as: Black Garlic, Spicy Garlic Miso, Tonkotsu, Seafood, Curry, Shoyu. Dietary restrictions: Their ramen is made with Pork Based Broth. Please be aware if you don’t eat pork. Parking: Located in an area of Street metered parking. It can be difficult to find parking right in front of the restaurant along Kedzie Ave, since you are competing for parking spots with restaurant customers from Kabobi and Noon O Kabob.

From the moment you step in, you're greeted with a warm and cozy atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The menu boasts a wide variety of ramen options, each with its own unique twist and flavor profile. The broth is rich and flavorful, and the noodles are cooked to perfection. Trust me, you won't be disappointed if you give this place a try.

Veggie sushi was just okay! I expected to have some smoothies or boba, but they changed their menu, unfortunately. The one on the website is not updated. Service was just okay, too, not very attentive.

I am a frequent diner at Wabi Sabi - it is a great place for dine in or takeout. Good selection of appetizers, sushi rolls, and entrees. Everything I’ve had on the menu has been fantastic, but I especially recommend the gyoza. Definitely affordable for sushi in the area. If you are picking up, food is usually ready 15-20 minutes after you call in even if the place is super busy. Parking: Paid street parking in Kedzie. Surrounding neighborhood streets have some free parking usually but be sure to check permit signs.

We showed up at 8:50 on a Saturday night and they told us that they were closed. I understand if they closed at 9 but they closed at 9:30. Disappointing.

I stopped in and had good experience til I realized I got home and they left themselves a very large tip with my card without writing down that I'd like to tip any such amount, very unprofessional already opened up a dispute with that payment to the bank, never coming back here again when I can't trust people with my own card information buyer's beware pay in CASH or they will overcharge your card when you aren't even in the store itself

I love the food here, only that there was a detail the person who is receiving the customers before we paid had a conversation with some girls where I told them about the tips that at least they had to leave 10% and I say it's fine but the time to pay she automatically charge 18% the ticket gives to choose the percentage you want to leave and I take it as well as the first customers did not leave her , the girl who had to leave it she decided.
