Before you dip that spoon into your food, take a look at how artfully beautiful it has been prepared. It is also delicious.
A Vietnamese friend recommended Viet Kitchen so I stopped by to pick up some takeout for dinner: combination beef noodle pho, fried egg rolls, and sizzling beef steak (bo ne). The bo ne was actually a mistake since I thought I was ordering a bành mi but it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Everything was terrific: very authentic, reasonably priced, and large portions. Next time I need to take my spouse for a dine In experience.
Had a great meal, was just what I was craving! Plate full of steaming fresh veggies and tofu wok fried. Fantastic. The gentlemen who own the place ( their names escape me) are very attentive and friendly. Always a pleasure coming here.
Love Food is always Tasty and Delightful, The Best Asian Food in Tacoma Area for sure Kid-friendliness: Always great and friendly attitudes, makes you feel Welcome and Appreciated
This place is fire. Don't live with mom so I don't get authentic Vietnamese anymore and this is as close as you can get. Vegetarian options: Just ask them to replace all meat with tofu. Beware for the broth though as a lot is bone-broth. Dietary restrictions: I eat mainly seafood and found a good selection here for me.
The Best Spring Rolls ever! Used to get them down the street at the other place(won't name it) Not anymore. Will be eating here or take out from now forward. Lucky to try them. The "other place not open" my luck.
VK Viet Kitchen is one of my favorite Vietnamese restaurants in Tacoma, Washington. The restaurant is conveniently on 38th Street (East of I-5), with plenty of parking on the streets and designated parking around the corners. The owners (couple), Vincent and Kenny, are fantastic and friendly. The food is delicious! If you're from Portland to Seattle or vice versa, VK VIET KITCHEN is the place. Try their Bon Ne, Pork Blood & organ Congee, BBQ duck noodles, or grilled squid -- all are delicious! I enjoy their food, but lately, it's hit and missed for us on several dishes. 1). The bread for the Bon Ne burnt, so we had to tell the waiter to toast another one. 2). For the duck noodles, the soup is a bit salty, and the dried bamboo shoot is chewy. They should soak the bamboo shoot in the water a bit longer. I spit half of the bamboo shoot out and couldn't swallow it. The steamed duck and the sweet fish sauce (salad) are perfect. 3). The Bee Loc Lac with steamed rice, rice is uncooked but smells like it was sitting in the pot for a long while. Also saw a piece of napkin in the rice. It's a little thing, but all experienced it. Anyway, so my wife just ate the beef and not the old steamed rice.
OMG I have found the best place for my spring Rolls. Absolutely delicious. Vien Dong was closed on a tue, so we tryed another place. What a great new place for us to go to from here on out.
