On arrival, disappointing that whilst we booked for a table of 8, for some reason they could only accommodate us in two separate tables, unless we sat outside. We opted for outside as the point was to dine together. The Italian food was amazing, our server was fantastic and the location was in the heart of Universal City walk with great views. Have to say best Lasagna I have ever tasted! Would highly recommend and hope they listen to your table requirements!

Both of us was very impressed. Alex was amazing. He flew through the motions like a pro and made everything more enjoyable. Thx

Abbiamo festeggiato il compleanno di mio figlio piccolo e lo staff e' stato straordinario, gentile e affabile. In particolar modo la cameriera (italiana) Christine, molto professionale e veloce, ci ha dato ottimi consigli e ci ha fatto dimenticare il conto salato con la sua simpatia e piacevole conversazione. Una cameriera davvero speciale che ha avuto molta pazienza con i miei bambini. Consiglio vivamente questo ristorante soprattutto per Cristine e l'autenticita' del menu. / The food was good and the closest to the authentic Italian cuisine found so far in the States. I enjoyed particularly the Tiramisu and the lavender cocktail. We celebrated my little son's birthday, and the staff were extraordinary, kind and affable. In particular, the (Italian) waitress Christine was very professional and fast, gave us excellent advice and made us forget about the high bill/check with her friendliness and pleasant conversation. A very special waitress who had a lot of patience with my children. I truly recommend this place especially because of Christine and the authentic Italian menu. Kid-friendliness: Certainly, with an amazing helpful staff (Christine was fantastic!)

Alex! This is the person you want to have for a wonderful experince! We came with not reservation with a group of 7. At the door we were greeted then brought in to a table close to the door. Before entering someone opened the door for us then we were greeted again and welcomed. We took our seats and walks in a wonderful person named Alex. He asked my daughter since she was at the head of the table will she being paying and how she wanted the orders to go as she was the boss. A lol moment with an 8 yr old on her birthday. He then took all of our orders of drinks by memory and had them delivered to our table with not one drink placed wrong as he brought the last 2 waters asked if all was great and if we wanted to place a starter. I replied yes and shortly came the meatballs and antipasto. Meatballs where great and the antipasto was ok. As he came around to check how everything was tasting he took note of drinks and asked if more was needed then brought those and asked if we where ready for our main course orders. He took our orders but what was amazing to us was for the two young girls they didn't want the sauce on the spaghetti and he even asked what kind of spaghetti even though it was not on the order! He made that happen for them and my daughter had loved the meatballs prior so that was also added to the plate. Explaining that it was a scratch kitchen made all the sense as everything came out hot and fresh. My lasagna was great and everyone said the food was perfect. Overall it was a fabulous experince and again I have to thank Alex for this. The late at the end was made with love even though he explained that the frothing part of the machine was not working properly you can tell effort was put in to make it as creamy as possible. Again going above and beyond to make a great experience for us. Since I had paid the way for the family and my daughters friend family they did an extreamly nice gesture and paid without me noticing at the end so I didn't get to see the tip amount but I will be going back and looking for Alex to hopefully have the same experince and send a generous tip to him. Alex if you are reading this thank you! You are the example of service and should be rewarded for shining a light in an industry many cannot do well. Hope to see you again soon. The waiter was friendly, but I had to remind him several times to bring me a straw.

The meatballs tasted like they were out of a can. We sent them back. But the squid ink seafood pasta was really good. The lasagna was disappointing.

Food was out of this world; everything was mouth-watering. Service was prompt and professional, reservations were honored right on time. No complaints about this place. Would definitely return.

Food was ok. I ordered the chicken picatta and my husband got the chicken parm. My chicken was over cooked and rubbery. Could not eat it. My husband ended up with food poisoning. So dont order the chicken. Service was fine and atmosphere is nice. They sat us right away on a rainy day and food came out quick. Its a shame my husband got sick. Vegetarian options: lots of veggies Kid-friendliness: they have items on the meu my kids ate.
