A great place to experience your food desires.
First time ever at this place. Went on a Sunday night and it was very cozy but also very dark. The light could have been up a little. They just told us to sit anywhere we would like which was fine. Though we did notice that they didn’t serve us the bread or water. We asked for water and they brung it but no bread. I guess they forgot. There was only two people working there which I found odd. However the food was very delicious. The drinks aswell but a bit pricy for being so little. I will visit again though for the brunch menu.
they add a 20% gratuity charge and then prompt you for a tip too. food was very average
Fantastic, unassuming spot to eat some exquisite Italian food! Everything we had was delicious and well made. We were a party of 5 and we were all raving about the food we got, everything from the papardelle to the lobster ravioli. The only feedback I'd give to the restaurant is that for $17, there should be more than three balls for the truffle arancini. If I knew the portion was so ridiculously small, we would not have ordered it.
Nice Italian restaurant located in the East Village. We've decided to go to the place because it was one of the few with reservations for Saturday's evening - and it was a good surprise. All the plates we've had - the Arancini, the Viva Boscaiola, the Chicken Francese and the Chocolate Tart - were really good! Only suggestion is that the Arancini could come in 4 pieces instead of 3 - it would be easier to share. It's is a bit pricy, but a very good place to have a decent Italian food.
We ate here on a weekend getaway to celebrate my mother's birthday. We had the pappardelle, the lobster ravioli, the chicken parm, caesar salads and tiramisu (gratis). All of us really enjoyed our food. The service was outstanding and the guys treated my mom like a queen. It was also convenient to get to from the subway. Would definitely eat here again!
Good place to come for a group dinner. The service is fast and the food and drinks are tasty. Just know that it is extremely loud in the restaurant and you’ll be yelling all night to be heard.
Confusing experience! Ordered a caesar salad with chicken and the waitress came by with the food and asked who it was for, I said “here please” and she gave it to my friend, then the table corrected her and she gave me a really dirty look and gave me the salad. Whatevs. Then like 20 mins later we’re all finished and waiting for the bill, so my friend asks for it and the same waitress gives her a weird look and moonwalks away while looking at us. Then 10 minutes later the staff come by with a birthday cake and a sparkling candle and say HAPPY BIRTHDAY! To my friend. His bday is in a few days but no one in my party tipped off the staff so they gave the dessert to the wrong table. And then we waited for the bill for a long while longer. Salad was meh. Ambience was crazy.
