Vino Volo was a pleasant surprise while we are waiting on our connecting flight. The atmosphere and staff are very nice. The food presentation is nice as well.
I just attempted to get served by the one next to gate 8 at the airport. Chris was behind the bar was dismissive of me even asking if they had a certain type of wine. Chris is extremely rude and disrespectful and actually smirked and laughed with another staff member when I requested his name. I was never served. I will never visit this spot again and will be making a TikTok with a picture of Chris to warn others of his behavior and unprofessionalism
Great wine selection, amazing chocolate torte, but the service was even better. The staff was kind, knowledgeable, and went out of their way on multiple occasions to make my time there special which is usually nonexistent in an airport dining experience. Huge shoutout to Chris who couldn’t have been more engaging and thoughtful!
What a wonderfully pleasant surprise, airport food that is actually palatable! Paired a proscuitto sandwich on ciabatta with a glass of wine, and it was the perfect preflight meal. Would recommend and definitely stop again when flying out of Austin.
I'd agree with most it is a cute spot. Albeit extremely pricey. But if you spend all that money at least you'd expect top notch service. I'm frankly quite upset I bought a bottle of wine and told them they'd have to seal it. Every airport store does it, especially for passengers that have more than one flight to catch. I insisted and they told me I'd be fine. Of course the first thing that happened in London is that I lost the bottle at the security gates because it wasn't sealed. So 1) don't buy bottles from this place as they cannot secure them for flyers 2) I washed $30 down the drain and I am not too thrilled about it. You'd expect them to help if they have a store in an airport and know what travellers are up to.
Stopped by Vino Bolo as per usual while waiting for a flight at ABIA. Two locations in Southwest’s terminal. Good wine, limited menu but decent food… mainly salads, sandwiches, cheese plates, a few desserts. Service is always good, friendly, attentive bartenders/waiters. They have their own app, sign up and scan your receipts to earn points. The points add up to lots of free stuff! I usually plan to arrive at the airport early to make this stop… very relaxing way to spend an hour before boarding time! Check their website to discover in which airports Vino Volo can be found. Highly recommend!
The food is good to be in airport area. The music was the best, very best! Love the ambient!
Place was completely full but got table in 10-15 minutes. Nice collection of wines and has mimosa too. All Italian food. Nice food and very polite staff.
If you're going to inflate your food and drink prices because we're trapped at the airport, at least pay your employees a living wage and stop putting it back on the consumer. Do better.
