Village Square Restaurant

Little dated but that's something that went unnoticed by me. My wife did though. I was only interested in the food, service and how many dishes I would have to wash to cover my tab. I didn't have to do any dishes the price was good the food and service more than made up for any decorations.

The Village Square is one of the best restaurants in Winchester. Food and service are consistently top notch. My wife and I had a great Friday night dinner and drinks as always but it was the very knowledgeable and attentive service that prompted me to write a review. It's obvious most places that service has been deteriorating but Village Square continues to maintain high standards.

Impressively creative menu, so many delicious sounding gluten free options it was hard to choose. Had the salmon with spaghetti squash that was incredibly flavorful and delicious. My husband had the filet which was tender and delicious, best he's had in a long while.The cocktails are creative too, I had "blood and smoke" it was absolutely delicious! Wait staff is friendly and on it and the atmosphere is cozy. There was nothing I didn't like, wish I lived in Winchester so I could try the whole menu! Highly recommend! Dietary restrictions: More gluten free options than most restaurants.

We loved the place. Perfect service (low-key and professional), great food, pleasant, intimate little nook at the back. The mushroom soup is DELICIOUS. The hamburger meat is tasty and grilled to perfection. The filet mignon cheesecake is delicious and meaty. The cocktail l ordered (Blood orange) was refined, fresh, and the alcohol taste was just right. We'll be back!

Everything was excellent. Get the general tso's shrimp, really perfect amount of heat and crunch!

For dinner we each ordered 2 salads with chicken. The bill came to $52 with tax. One of the salads was supposed to have pecans and dried cherries, the salad came with neither, told waiter and response was we are out of them, no adjustment offered. The chicken was 3 strips of chicken which were cold and dry, tasted like they were made earlier in the day. Two small but tasty rolls came with the salads. The salads greens were very fresh and the dressings were delicious. The salads were medium size, not really entre salads. Expected more from 2 salads that cost $52.
