Today is one of the days that I usually go to Villa Rustica. I was totally surprised to see Lisa working that day. This place is always great, especially when Nick is working but with the addition of Lisa this place jumps up over 100%. My chicken parm was delicious with a very tasty sauce that made my mouth watering with flavors. My usual salad that I get here was fresh and this place has the best salad dressing bar none. FYI just saying if Lisa was part of the weekend crew here the people would be all over this place. Edit review 2/14/2019Updated review 1 photo Villa Rustica has some of the best specialty slices. Seriously my mouth waters when I bite into their Grandma Slice, crunchy full of cheese and basil.The sause adds to the taste with pieces of. sliced tomato. I've had Grandma Slices at many different locations and to be honest I feel that Villa Rustica stands above most other pizza places. I also love their Chicken Parmesan, the chicken is cut thin as to take in the flavor. I could name many other slices and main courses because I have never had a bad meal here. The staff here is extremely nice and that makes for a pleasant experience. Villa Rustica is a nice neighborhood restaurant...But unlike other neighborhood eateries people come from miles away just to enjoy this food.... My usual go to item besides the pizza is the Chicken Parm which always makes my mouth water..Excellent sauce to boot..Real Italian.. Today I had the Meatballs and Pasta,very filling and once again excellent taste and sauce....tender meatballs went well with the perfectly cooked pasta and an added salad plate which rounded out this meal.. My husband and I wanted Italian for lunch, and I saw this restaurant had good reviews. My husband was ok with his chicken parm pasta as he’s very simple to please. I on the other hand, am a foodie and appreciate good food. I ordered my favorite italian dish, Chicken Marsala, I was disappointed as the sauce was to dark, thin in texture, and bland in taste. No matter how much salt I added, it was hard to make the dish tasty. I decided to order garlic knots to go. I was disappointed again as I received bread knots, there was no hint or spec of garlic in their garlic knots. They basically made bread knots with a little oil and sprinkle of Italian seasoning. How can you have garlic knots and not have garlic on it or make it taste like it has some garlic on it? The only pro I have was the good service, the waiter we had was nice and provided great service. Unfortunately I will not be returning here and do not recommend Villa Rustica on Bell Blvd.

Good food Nice sauces Quality ingredients well cooked Tasty pizza I must say though ..the portions are too small The prices too high for the portions.
