We loved this restaurant!! Our server had to step out and asked another to check on us and I really appreciated the thoughtfulness. This was our first visit and we got the pretzels. And waffle fries. The beer cheese was so good and all the dips for the pretzels. The place was so clean and inviting. It was just what I needed after a rough day at work.

Loved it!! The pretzel they serve is one of the best I've had. Loved the beer cheese and mustard with it!

Bob and I visited this restaurant in Lafayette, Georgia after exploring The Shirley Miller Wildflower Trail, also known as "The Pocket" in Chickamauga. The restaurant was small but quaint. Since we had our dogs with us, the waitress seated us on a small back patio surrounded by trees. The weather was beautiful, and we were looking forward to a cold beer. We were a bit disappointed to find out they only had bottled beer, no drafts. However, when the beer arrived, it was very cold and refreshing. I ordered Bratwurst, Austrian potato salad, and sauerkraut. Bob had Schnitzel and Austrian Potato Salad. We both enjoyed our food, which was served quickly and hot. It was my first time having Austrian Potato Salad, and I prefer German Potato Salad, but it was good. When we are in the area, we will return to this restaurant .

The food was great, good service, I'd go again, and again, and again if I lived here.

This is a great idea to have something around here besides meat & 3. They have a 100 restaurant inspection score. It is nice inside and out on the back deck. I've had the bratwurst 2 times. And ready to return for more.

This restaurant was absolutely terrific. I’ve eaten at a few good restaurants in Vienna, and the food here was actually better. Everything on the menu is authentic. My freshmade giant pretzel, Jager Schnitzel, red cabbage and mashed potatoes were amazing. I decided to try one of the tempting desserts and am now a big fan of Sonnenapfel. Service and owner’s hospitality were wonderful. Highly recommended!

So happy to have this unique gem in our tiny town! The food can't be beat!

I was surprised to be disappointed. The dough pretzel appetizer was AWESOME! Best dough pretzel I've ever had. Our server Lilly was top notch. The dessert was good. My wife and I were both highly disappointed in our main dishes. That being said, we have not given up on this place. We will be back for the pretzel with a willingness to try other menu items. I think we just chose poorly for our first time there. I was highly impressed with Lilly, our server. When she asked how it was we told her. She took it upon herself to talk with management. Our meal was comped. We did not ask nor expect that but it impressed us enough that we will try again. Lilly, you are AWESOME!!!
