We waited our orders for one and a half hour. The food was not fresh. The only good thing about this place was our waiter. That was St. Patrick’s day, I can see they were busy but at the end of the night, instead of apologizing a person who I am guessing the restaurant manager, tried to excuse by using our food allergy. That wasn’t kind and this doesn’t fix waiting for 1,5 hour, bad food. Don’t even try the seafood here. Dietary restrictions: They are not respectful to your dietary restrictions.
The service was great, view amazing and food delicious. We had the tuna and scallops, both delicious. Great manhattans too.
I have no idea why they don't have a perfect rating. Oysters Rockefeller, crab cake, and filet were outstanding. Waiter was James, and he took care of us. Reserve a riverview seat and enjoy a fantastic meal.
Worst restaurant in river street Bad service Food cold hamburger bread old server had shaking hands like drugs influence. I have been in many restaurants there yhis is by far the worst. Employees cleaning tables no soap just a dirty rag
I grew up in Mobile, Alabama which is 2 hours from New Orleans. Beignets are a popular southern delicacy in both cities so I was excited to see them on the menu. As a restaurant that claims to serve "expertly crafted Southern delicacies" I was HIGHLY disappointed in the crawfish "beignets". They might as well call them empanadas because the dough is no where similar to a traditional beignets. With how high their prices are you'd think they'd be able to produce recipes that are accurate to such traditional southern delicacies.
Very lively and welcoming! And loud!
Vic's has good food and friendly service. The meatloaf and mashed potatoes were good. The restaurant is by the river and many other shops so you can walk or sight see afterward.
Kitchen slow. Service slow. She crab soup-lean on crab. Shrimp and grits: several shrimp incompletely cleaned, grits not seasoned. Gravy slopped on top with gravy over edges of bowl. Only redemption was shrimp was well cooked.
