Short of staff. Horrible experience didn't take our order until like thirty minutes.
Excellent rigatoni with slow-cooked, marinated pork and beef ragu. Great wine selection, including Barolo... Reasonably priced for excellent Italian. I highly recommend.
Very nice place, clean and friendly, will be back again
Finally some AMAZING service! Delicious food. Good vegetarian options (loved the Eggplant). We felt well taken care of before heading to a show down the street. Thank you!
Love this place, we go there at least once a week. They have a lot if fun events. The Queens Brunch, open mics, DJs, live bands and more. Check their www for more info Vegetarian options: The vegetarian options are scattered thru throughout the menu and offered as some specials Kid-friendliness: Everyone welcome Wheelchair accessibility: Ground level
Service was a flop. Our server was so distracted and not attentive at all. Multiple mistakes with our order. He totally ignored us for long spells. Nice guy but he might want to find a different career. Food was pretty good.
Food: Veru good Italian fare, with a focus on Neapolitan / Southern Italian cuisine. A broad but not overly-complex menu. Everything around the table was tasty. Drink: The bar in front had a good list of house cocktails, and a full bar for anything else you might want. The wine list was very good. Service: The staff and owner were both on-hand, and treated us well. Never had to wait for anything beyond what I'd expect. Friendly and welcoming. Ambiance: Feels like an old, established neighborhood restaurant and bar. Nicely, if quirkily, appointed. Net-net: I'd go back if I found myself in the Castro at dinner time.
Their pizza was always a standout, but now they have a new chef and the pasta is just as amazing. Give it a try if you're in the area.
