Although the food was very good and my waitress was lovely, I unfortunately had a negative experience at the end of my meal. A cockroach crawled up my leg! Management was very professional about the incident, but I don’t plan on returning as I cannot attest to the kitchen being clean.

I’m sorry but I have to give it one star. My brisket was dry and tough as though it sat out uncovered or was way overcooked. I’m generally not a fan of the flavor profile of the meats or sides. The coleslaw was so spicy for some reason, it honestly should come with a warning. And the jerk chicken was baked or something, not grilled, and a sauce was drizzled over it - nothing jerk about it to me. Pieces of white bread that were hard as if not covered properly, and is the bread supposed to be served grilled or not grilled? I've seen both in photos.

The brisket sandwich was great! The brisket on the platter was really dry. That was sad. But the ribs and cocktails were really good

I love Vibes BBQ. Great addition to the downtown food options. Especially happy that you offer vegan BBQ options.

My boyfriend ordered the BBQ Cauliflower Tray, that comes with one side, bread, house pickles and BBQ sauce, to go. When we got back home, he realized that he didn’t receive the bread, pickles, or bbq sauce; the bag just had the cauliflower and Mac and cheese as his side. We were too far to return and ask for what was missing. Imagine his even bigger surprise when he opened the box and saw two florets of cauliflower that was supposed to be the main portion of the meal. He was infuriated at spending $16 + tip on this. The cauliflower was an undercooked, poorly seasoned, insultingly small portion. The only saving grace was the Mac and cheese that was a larger portion than the cauliflower - despite being labeled as a side. He was excited to try the restaurant after seeing other great reviews and had intended to go back for the dessert, especially the banana pudding, but experienced such a let down we most likely will not be back.

I've been here when it was Marcus B&P. Went back and this was a huge let down. I don't like the new menu. I will find other places to eat. The first time the food was really good.

Very good food and drinks. Chicken sandwich was awesome. Their fries are really good too.
