Vertoris Pizza House

My friend found this place while searching online for a pizza place for us to go to prior to a show at the State College of Florida. We had a fantastic experience! The food was amazing. We keep talking about the pizzas we had and looking for things to do in the area just so we can go back to Vertoris! My two friends shared a white pizza with mushrooms and spinach. I had the red sauce with green pepper and onion. We ordered both pizzas with the thin crust option. Best thin crust pizza I've ever had. It was not cracker crust. It was slightly crisp (not burnt) on the bottom but also a tiny bit chewy. Just perfect. People at the table next to ours had lasagna. It was a huge quantity, so they had another meal or two left, which they took home with them. It sounded like they were weekly regulars. I can understand why. I wish this restaurant was located in my town of Parrish, FL. I'd be a regular too! As for atmosphere, it isn't that type of place. It's a small Italian food and pizza joint. You come for the delicious food, not the atmosphere. The place was clean. Dave, who I presume is one of the owners, was very friendly to us and the rest of the customers. Food didn't take long to prepare and it was brought out piping hot. I will definitely be going back in the near future! Dietary restrictions: They have a ton of gluten free choices, including delicious looking (didn't try them) mozzarella sticks. Parking: This restaurant is in a strip mall that doesn't appear to be very busy. We found a spot to park very close to the restaurant.

I was staying at an Air bnb locally. I ordered an onion pizza and calzone. I hate to write a bad review, but the pizza had about one strip of onion on each slice. The pizza tasted like the crust was washed in garlic butter. The calzone tasted the same way. Unfortunately it is a disappointing review.

Excellent food and service!!! Love coming here when I'm on vacation. It's nice to have a place to go that has so many gf options!

First time here, not a pizza eater, but was craving some. The food was excellent and had the house salad, brushetta, and the Tropic BBQ pizza. The food was very good and hot and fresh. The guy at the front was scarastic but welcoming. It was kinda weird. Enjoy!!

So good! Stopped here while on a road trip, and this was one of the best pizza's i have ever had!

Hands down best pizza in Bradenton. So glad Vertoris is back open 7 days a week!
