The guac was amazing. I mean, everything was delicious, but I'm so glad we also got the chips and guacamole.
There is an upstairs that has a a beautiful wooded finish and old style feel to the atmosphere. Tried new things up on the recommended from Jicama Sticks are a fantastic palette cleanser as well as treat while you wait salsa and chips were incredible. Temperature inside was in perfect aclimate to the outside. Waiter accommodated a table switch and helped move my meal from the upstairs to outside. Staff were super informative on the dishes being served and helpful when needed. Not sure on what you might want Verde Cocina has an eclectic menu that you may enjoy trying new things from.
I was extremely surprised how good this restaurant was. This was our first time eating here and I was looking for a gluten free restaurant for our friend. My expectations weren’t super high but the food and menu items were awesome. The one thing that could have been better is their dessert selection. What they had was really good, but it is very limited.
Flavors delicious, everything well prepared, definitely a repeat. Left overs reheated well. Their sister restaurant in Northwest is closer, I'll definitely give them a try too. Dedicated gluten-free is a GREAT find. Vegetarian options: The cheese they use in the quesadilla is incredible. The brussel sprouts with balsamic vinegar are must order. Enough for 4 people as an appetizer. Dietary restrictions: Dedicated gluten free. Parking: Across the street from the restaurant. Kid-friendliness: High chairs available.
Food was just okay. Kind of bland.
Loved the atmosphere and service. The food was good. Although we got burnt French toast that my son didn't like and didn't eat, server was notified. Still was charged for that dish that only had one bite taken from it. Dietary restrictions: Totally gf!
We didn't actually dine here on this particular occasion. We know that their food is good. We showed up on a night where it was 40° outside, and they were only making outside seating available. Yes, they had heaters, but it wasn't anywhere near warm enough to facilitate outside dining only. They didn't explain why they we're not seeing people inside, but it wasn't because they were too busy. Whatever the reason was, it wasn't communicated, and that's why I'm giving this rating. Communication is everything.
This is the place where I take my friends and family the most. I was so worried they'd close during covid that I bought take out from them weekly. The Chile Relleno is the BEST. I'm obsessed with it. My dad likes to salmon, and my sons love the tacos and quesadillas. The Buenos Dias breakfast is delicious as well. Can't say enough good things about this restaurant! The staff is amazing as well and you really feel like you're family there.
