Venteux Brasserie, Cafe & Oyster Bar

Been dreaming of coming to this cafe for a bit now. Very dreamy vibes with a beautiful restaurant in the back. However, the cappuccino didn’t impress me much. I’d give it 7/10. But that red velvet cake was divine!! Service was mid, except for hostess.

Salty food from the baked brie down to the french onion soup. The bread wasn’t fresh, hard and overly toasted. Oysters were small but ok. The booth table was uncomfortably tight. Service was subpar. Ordered a couple bottles of champagne at $80 a pop. Then found out they retail for $19. Talking about up charging, most def felt bamboozled. The restaurant gives, wanna be more than what it is. $293 …wasn’t worth it at all. Parking: Parking garage $$ No Street parking

Ate here for dinner as well as breakfast the next day. Happy hour is a great deal here! Had the oysters, escargot, sliders & tarte flambe and they were all delicious. My wife got her money's worth out of the bottomless rose. Breakfast was also very good. I had the eggs benedict and she had the egg white omelette. I really enjoyed the potatoes that came with the Benedict. Will definitely be back here in the future

Great coffee delicious dish.

Two of us went for restaurant week. Overall, decent food, great atmosphere, and subpar service. It took us 15 minutes to be seated after our reservation and the drinks and food came out at a slow pace. Food was good but a little underwhelming especially for non-restarant week prices.

Went to brunch today and had a great experience! Juan the server/bartender was attentive, friendly and made for a great start of the day! Will be back soon!
