Valentine's Day 2024. Another excellent meal. My wife had very good Penne ala Vodka. I had Calamari with Spicy Cherry Pepper Marinara. Unbelievably delicious! My entrée was Capellini Frutti de Mare. Made with the freshest shrimp, clams and mussels! I had it in red sauce with perfectly cooked capellini! So good. Finished with a delicious **cappuccino and the creamiest Italian cheesecake you'll find. AWESOME!!! ** It's America. It's not just for breakfast anymore! ---------------------------------------------------------------- Excellent food. Never been disappointed. Super meatballs and pork braciole in delicious tomato sauce. Pasta always cooked perfectly. Try the Italian eggrolls! OMG!

Westbury’s finest! From the atmosphere, staff and food, this place doesn’t miss. Dreaming of the next time I can order the baked clams

I recently visited this town and visited a tavern across the street I sat at the bar and talked to a man there who told me about a kid he met a few months ago who told him stuff of what happened to him working at this restaurant. Apparently the weight staff used to be pretty hard on him and call him mentally slow in the head (The R word) anytime he would mess up. One of the weight staff used to put his arm on his shoulder and wag his finger in his face and say "you are slow in the head" and the kid did in fact have problems with stuff like that. The guy went on to say how he feels bad for how the kid was treated and hopes for the best for him now. I have returned home and felt I needed to write this as it is horrible for what went on there. The guy told me how the bussers were told to take breadbaskets from customers who eaten from them. To take them in the back and inspect the ones with no bits taken out of them and throw them in a bucket and they freeze them and resume them the next day. They had to do this even if the bread was touching other pieces with bits taken out of them. Will not return truly disgusting

Venere is an amazing true Italian restaurant. From the moment you walk in the door, you feel like you are in Italy. The staff always greets you with a warm welcome and makes you feel at home. The bread is out of this world, made fresh and served warm, and melts in your mouth. The appetizers are on a different level. Everything makes your taste buds burst with the elegant flavors, and the freshness is like none other. The pasta and main courses are perfectly plated. The meat is tender, flavorful, and juicy. The pasta is made fresh, and the sauces are hand-crafted and made perfectly. The desserts are authentic Italian and pair well with the most amazing espresso martini( and I am an espresso martini snob). I have never had an espresso martini that is made perfectly with a fresh espresso. The owners, Angelo and Frank, are welcoming, making sure every dish is made perfectly, and they ensure every customer experience is enjoyable. Venere is an excellent place for family dinners and celebrations, and the catering is out of this world. Venere is numinal. Be sure to check this place out if you haven't. It is a must-eat at a restaurant.

We callled last minute Sunday night. They graciously accommodated us. Hostess and server were incredibly nice and cared about our comfort and continued to ask if our meal was ok and we were satisfied. The last time I was at Venere was when I was in college in 1991. Now I came back with my family of 5 and I couldn’t have been more pleasantly satisfied as my family can’t wait to go back. Thank you!

Very nice, old school, family run Italian restaurant. Mussels in white wine sauce and chopped salad for apps were delicious. Chicken Scarpiello was also well prepared. Boneless chicken, sliced sausage, chopped red pepper, and mushrooms in a brown sauce. If you are looking for something different or are tired of the restaurant chains, give Venere a try. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
