My family and I went here for dinner last night and it was rather disappointing unfortunately. For starters we had to ask for happy Hour menu twice and when we finally received it, we were told we had 3 minutes to order. The abruptness of our server left a lot to be desired. I appreciate that it was busy, but do not think being told “we’re busy” is an appropriate answer to asking where our food was after waiting for over 30 minutes. The service was impersonal, bordering on rudeness and left us feeling that we were in the way. Not a pleasant experience.
This was my first time visiting Vasili’s Kitchen. I never heard of it, and my daughter suggested it for our father-daughter night out. The calamari, lamb gyro, crabcake, and desserts were excellent. The server (Katherine) and overall service were great, and the atmosphere was loud and vibrant but not overbearing. I've already recommended this establishment to a friend. I will return for another meal soon.
The food is always good, but every time we visit, it seems like the side salads like the coleslaw and cucumber salads are not fresh enough and way too cold, like they made it the previous day and kept it in the fridge. Those salads are not supposed to be kept ready in the fridge, and I wish they would do those fresh, as any other restaurant at that level. Other than that, the food is great!
Vegetarian options: Falafel pitas
Average service, average ambiance, too expensive, but the food was very good. I can recommend the moussaka.
Took my girlfriend to this spot to eat. The food was great, our waiter was awesome. We both enjoyed ourselves very well. I'll be gong back at some point.
