We heard these were good from a friend, and so we tried it out. Not sure if their upper east location is different from their Chinatown locations, but we were so under impressed. Very cheap dumplings, but not good at all. We were pretty bummed. Also, their soup dumplings are not actually soup dumplings, they are dumplings in soup. That was probably our bad for missing that detail but just FYI.
Delicious best pan fried pork dumplings ever!
Ordered chicken and basil fried dumplings and received some kind of soup with no meat at all. I paid $7.88 instead of $3.88 for a small size soup that was super salty and sour. I was left hungry and very upset.
Such great dumplings! Yum!
在朋友的推荐下,去体验了一下,果然名不虚传,独特的餐厅,干净,优质的服务,好吃的食品,特别是奶茶,太专业了。价廉物美,强烈推荐!
My second visit here and I'm never coming back, food is so mediocre and bland, really tasted like nothing those dan dan noodles are worse than dog food, and I'm a Dogwalker, for a moment I got worried thinking I have Covid again, but I went across the street to get a pizza slice and I felt every flavor, the food in here is just that bad .
we got 3 different types of dumplings (spicy beef, chive & pork, forgetting the last…), wonton soup, sour & spicy cucumber salad, and a steamed bun, everything was 10/10 delicious. and randomly the iced green tea was maybe the best green tea I’ve ever had?!
We really enjoyed Vanessa’s dumpling house very much. The food is very delicious and fresh. We had pan fried chicken basil dumplings. We had tried many other food, such as spicy beef dumplings, bubble tea, hot and sour soup before , they were all very tasty. And even frozen dumplings are packed very well and clean. The lady at the cashier is very friendly and helpful. The service is great. It’s a clean and bright place. We highly recommend this place.
