Van Leeuwen is like the one popular kid in elementary school who bullies the other kids into giving her their lunch money because she KNOWS that she’s the star of the show. Yes, charging $10 for a cup of blended cream and sugar is beyond ridiculous, but I will do it because Van Leeuwen is just that good. With a big fat asterisk, since some of their most adventurous pursuits have been a huge no-no (malted milkshake and fries, I’m looking directly at you). MAKE SURE YOU TRY THE FLAVORS BEFORE BUYING. My top flavors: cookies & cream (a classic and done VERY well) and hazelnut fudge cookie. I wasn’t a huge fan of the honeycomb (too sweet). Plenty of vegan flavors as well that taste just as good.
